ObjectiveTo explore the efficacy and predictive factors of peginterferon alfa-2a treatment in HBeAg positive chronic hepatitis B patients.Methods111 treatment-na?ve HBeAg positive CHB patients treated by peginterforen alfa-2a were enrolled in our retrospective study. The data at baseline and 12,24,and 48 weeks after treatment were collected and analysed by SPSS software to observe the efficacy at 48 weeks and predictive factors.ResultsThe difference of HBeAg level at baseline, level and reduced level of HBsAg,HBeAg and HBV DNA at 12 week, level and reduced level of HBsAg and HBeAg at 24 week, level of HBV DNA and ALT at 24 week had statistical significance between HBeAg seroconversion group and no seroconversion group at week 48(P<0.05).Further multifactor regression analysis showed that HBeAg level at week 12,level and reduced level of HBeAg at week 24 were independent predictors for the HBeAg seroconversion at 48 week.HBeAg< 800S/CO at baseline,ALT<1.45×ULN and HBeAg decline >1.5 log10S/CO at week 24 were independent predictors of HBeAg seroconversion in our study.ConclusionThe level and reduced level of HBsAg,HBeAg,HBV DNA and ALT at baseline and each follow-up points could be helpful for the prediction of HBe Ag seroconversion.
