| Objective:To observe the therapy effects of high flow nasal cannula(HFNC)and conventional oxygen therapy in AECOPD in patients. To evaluate the advantage of high flow nasal cannula as a new way of oxygen therapy for AECOPD.Methods:This study was a investigation of 40 patients with AECOPD or exacerbation of COPD and treated in RICU in Nanfang hospital. The study period was December 2016 to December 2017.Patients treated with HFNC were included in the HFNC group, others treated with conventional oxygen device were included in the conventional oxygen therapy group. All patients received atomization inhalation,anti-infection and reasthma therapy. The changes of ABG and vital signs before and after 48 hours were observed. All data were treated by SPSS.Results:A total of 40 patients were included. Before the treatment,PaCO2、pH were not significantly different between the two groups, but PaO2 and Oxygenation index were significantly higher in conventional oxygen therapy group. After the therapy,ABG PaO2 and Oxygenation index increased signifigcantly Only in HFNC groups. No difference in ABG index was observed between the two groups. Conclusions:Use of an HFNC in patients with AECOPD could show a significant trend of increase in PaO2 and Oxygenation index.PaCO2、pH were similar in patients before and after the use of HFNC. |
