Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)is mainly characterized by poor ability to maintain attention, and the symptoms of hyperactivity. At the moment, the cause of ADHD symptoms is the focus for many research field.According to ADHD's etiological theory,ADHD patients are due to the defect of inhibition control ability, which leads to other cognitive functions, including maintaining attention deficit, hyperactivity and impulsivity.Dynamic interaction model holds that the dynamic interaction between the individual and its own external environment affects the symptoms of ADHD patients. The dual channel theoretical model explained the interaction between parental rearing patterns and ADHD symptoms on two channels. In this paper,we adopted the stop signal task to investigate the effects of three kinds of stimulation conditions on ADHD children's behavior inhibition. The three conditions are neutral, cumulative reward(imitation parent's consistent praise)and cumulative punishment(simulating parental constant criticism). The impact of parental authority, parental autocracy and parental indulgence on the behavior inhibition of ADHD children was investigated by the "Parental Rearing Style Questionnaire".The following conclusions are obtained:1.ADHD children's behavior inhibition ability is defective.2.For ADHD,external stimuli can affect ADHD's behavioral inhibition ability within a certain time.3.The parental rearing style of ADHD children were different from control group.Parental rearing style of ADHD children was autocratic and indulgent.4.Parental rearing styles affect the inhibition failure rate of ADHD in the stop signal task.Supportive and encouraging parenting styles contribute to the development of ADHD children's behavioral inhibition ability.
