Objective: studying the prognostic factors of MS by observing the clinical outcomes and the state of living of MS patients whose disease course longer than 10 years,so as to provide a clinical basis for improving the clinical efficacy and the prognosis of patients with MS.Method:Selecting 36 patients that meeting the requirements from The Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University, then investigate the information about the disease and the state of living(EDSS,ADL-BI,MSIS-29,GAD-7,PHQ-9,MFIS-21),and explore the the prognostic factors of MS.Result:There were no statistically significant differences among the state of living of MS patients with different disease course, sex, initial symptom and the time to first recurrence. For the average age of morbidity and the scores of EDSS of the first time, women were lower than men(P<0.05).The prognosis of younger patients(<30 years old)were worse than older patients(≥30 years old)(P<0.05),especially in the area of emotions.Patients with inducing factors were more likely to have emotional problems(P<0.05).The more relapses, the worse state of living(P < 0.05).The prognosis of Pseudo-Monophasic MS patients were better than RRMS patients(P<0.05).The prognosis of patients who suffered from the worst attack at the first time would be better than others(P<0.05).Conclusion:For the average age of morbidity and the scores of EDSS at the first time, women were lower than men.The patients who suffered from first onset before 30 years old or the patients with inducing factors were more likely to have emotional problems. The Pseudo-Monophasic MS patients, the patients with fewer relapses or the patients who suffered from the worst attack at thefirst time would got a better prognose than others.
