| Objective: To investigate the expression and clinical significance of heat shock protein 10(HSP10)in bladder urothelial carcinomaMethods: SP immunohistochemical methods was used to detect the expression of HSP10 in 58 cases of bladder urothelial carcinoma and 10 cases of normal bladder tissues. Then combined with clinical data to analyse the relationship between HSP10 and patients’ age, sex, clinical stages, pathological grading, tumor volume, recurrence and metastasis.Results:.the positive expression rate of HSP10 in bladder urothelial carcinoma was79.31%(46/58),and the positive expression rate in normal bladder urothelial tissue was 10%(1/10),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The positive expression rate of HSP10 in bladder urothelial carcinoma was not significantly correlated with age, sex, tumor volume and clinical stages(P>0.05),but closely correlated with pathological grading, recurrence and metastasis(P<0.05).Conclusion:HSP10 is highly expressed in bladder urothelial carcinoma and is closely related to the pathological grading, recurrence and metastasis of the tumor.HSP10 may be one of the important indexes for the diagnosis, judgement of recurrence and evaluate the prognosis of bladder urothelial carcinoma, which may guide the clinical treatment. |
