| Object:To explore the expression of Angiopoietin(Ang)and Tyrosine kinase receptor(Tie)in tissues of cervical squamous cell carcinoma, and correlation with clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of cervical cancer patients.Methods:84 patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma(FIGO staging Ia1 to IIa2)undergone surgical treatment without chemoradiotherapy and chemotherapy in the first affiliated hospital of shihezi university were selected from January 2010 to December2017.Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression of Ang-1,Ang-2,Tie-1 and Tie-2 in cervical cancer tissues.Patients’ clinical pathological characteristics were collected and the patients were followed up regularly per half a year. Results: 1.In 84 cases of cervical cancer, there were 22 cases with tumor diameter ≥ 2cm,and <2cm cases with 62 cases. In cervical cancer tumor cells(TCs),the positive expression rate of Ang-1,Ang-2 in the tumor diameter≥ 2cm group were 81.8%,86.4%,and 77.3%,respectively;the positive expression rates in tumor diameter <2cm group were 56.5%,53.2.6%,and 51.6% respectively. All the positive expression of Ang-1,Ang-2 and Tie-2 in tumor diameter ≥ 2cm group was higher than group of tumor diameter < 2cm group,P value were 0.041,0.010 and 0.045,respectively;2.Among 84 patients, the patients of Ia1 to Ib1 stage were 54 cases,Ib2 to IIa2 stage were 30 cases. The positive expression rate of Tie-2 in TCs of tissues of Ia1 to Ib1 stage cervical cancer was 50.0%,that was significantly lower than its expression(73.3%)in TCs of Ib2 to IIa2 stage(P = 0.042);3.Among the 84 cases of cervical carcinoma,15 cases had lymphatic vascular space invasion(LVSI),and the positive expression rate of Tie-1 in TCs in these tissues was 60.0%(9/15).In 69 cases without LVSI,the positive expression rate of Tie-1 was 85.5%(59/69),which was significantly higher than the expression of Tie-1 in LVSI group(P =0.033);4.The 3-year overall survival rate of patients with Tie-1 positive expression in TCs of cervical cancer tissues was 95.1%,and the negative expression was 71.4%.The survival rate of ptients with Tie-1 positive expression was higher than that of negative ones. The difference was statistically significant(P =0.006).The 3-year overall survival rate survival rate of Tie-2 positive in TCs of cervical cancer tissues was 84.1%,and the negative rate was 100%.The survival rate of patients with Tie-2 positive expression was lower than that of negative patients. The difference was statistically significant(P =0.021);5.There was no significant correlation between the expression of Angs and Ties in tumor-related endothelial cells of cervical cancer and patient age,FIGO stage, tumor diameter, differentiation, lymph node metastasis and LVSI(P >0.05).6.The relative risk of Tie-1 positive expression in TCs of cervical cancer tissues was low,and the 3-year cumulative survival rate was significantly higher than that of Tie-1 negative expression.(RR=0.060,P=0.027).Conclusion:1.The expression of Ang and Tie2 in TCs of cervical cancer promotes the growth and progression of cervical squamous cell carcinoma.2.The high expression of Tie-2 in TCs of cervical cancer can be used as one of the indicators of adverse outcome in patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma.3.Tie-1 in TCs of cervical squamous cell carcinoma may play an inhibitory role in the progression of cervical squamous cell carcinoma.4.Ang/Tie-2 signaling pathway is expected to become a new target for anticancer treatment of cervical cancer. |
