The Research Of The Distribution Of TCM Constitution And TCM Syndrome And The Correlation Factors Of Primary Dysmenorrhea Patients

ObjectiveThrough the investigation of general conditions,TCM constitutional types and TCM syndromes of primary dysmenorrhea patients,we discusses the distribution of TCM constitution,the distribution of TCM syndromes and correlation factors in patients with primary dysmenorrhea,in order to provide the reference for improving the clinical efficacy and prevention of the primary dysmenorrhea.MethodConducted a questionnaire survey of 150 patients with the inclusion criteria of primary dysmenorrhea patients that admitted to the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in January 2016 to December 2016,require the patients to fill in with the “general survey”,the “TCM Constitution Questionnaire “ created by Professor Wang Qi.Analyze the general conditions,the distribution of TCM constitution and TCM syndrome and the correlation factors.To establish the EXCEL database of the survey data,analyze the data with SPSS21.0 software.Results(1)The frequency of nine types of TCM constitution in 150 primary dysmenorrhea patients is as follows:Yang deficiency constitution(28.7%)>Qi stagnation constitution(15.3%)=Normal constitution(15.3%)>Damp-heat constitution(10.7%)>Yin deficiency constitution(8.7%)>Blood stasis constitution(8.0%)>Qi deficiency constitution(6.0%)>phlegm-dampness constitution(5.3%)>Special constitution(2.0%).(2)The distribution of TCM Syndrome of 150 cases of primary dysmenorrhea patients is the most in cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome,accounted for about 47.3%,followed by qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome accounted for 38.7%,liver and kidney deficiency syndrome accounted for 6.6%,accumulated dampness-heat syndrome accounted for 4.7%,Qi and blood deficiency syndrome accounted for 2.7%.(3)The distribution of 9 kinds of TCM Constitution of Primary dysmenorrhea was no significant difference with age,disease duration,age of menarche,fertility,sexual history,exercise,emotional status,stress level,smoking and drinking(P > 0.05),the distribution of 9 kinds of TCM Constitution and eating habits of primary dysmenorrhea were statistically significant(P < 0.05).(4)The distribution of 5 kinds of TCM syndrome of Primary dysmenorrhea was no significant difference with age,disease duration,age of menarche,fertility,sexual history,eating habits,exercise,emotional status,stress level,smoking and drinking(P > 0.05).Conclusion(1)Primary dysmenorrhea appears mostly in the constitution of Yang deficiency constitution,Qi stagnation Constitution and Damp-heat constitution with the exception of Normal constitution.(2)The TCM syndrome of primary dysmenorrhea is more common in Sthenic Syndrome,cold coagulation and blood stasis syndrome,qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome is more common.(3)The distribution of 9 kinds of TCM constitution of Primary dysmenorrhea is not related to the age,disease duration,age of menarche,fertility,sexual history,exercise,emotional status,stress level,smoking and drinking,but associated with eating habits.(4)The distribution of 5 kinds of TCM syndrome of Primary dysmenorrhea is not related to the age,disease duration,age of menarche,fertility,sexual history,eating habits,exercise,emotional status,stress level,smoking and drinking.
