Objective: To analyze the TCM clinical characteristics and TCM constitution type of Primary Dysmenorrhea in Chinese Malaysians,summarized the TCM clinical characteristics and TCM constitution of distribution state of women with primary dysmenorrhea in the region and to provide new concepts for primary dysmenorrhea treatment and prevention.Methods: 107 Chinese Malaysian patient with primary Dysmenorrhea were collected with four diagnostic data and fill up the “classification and judgement standards of TCM constitution” questionnaire.Analyze and conclude the Clinical characteristics and tcm constitution type in Johor Malaysia.Results:1.The age distribution of primary dysmenorrhea patients in Malaysia in this survey:the average age is(25.64±6.306)years old;40.2% are 18-21 years old,28% are 29-35 years old,and26.2% are 22-28 years old,36-42 years old accounted for 5.6%.2.In this survey,the distribution of constitions of primary dysmenorrhea patients in Malaysia:86 cases(80.5%)with biased constitutions,including 22 cases(20.6%)with Qi stagnation,16 cases(15%)with Yang deficiency,and 16 cases(15%)with Qi deficiency,8casesof damp-heat type(7.5%),8 cases of special temperament(7.5%),6 cases of Yin deficiency type(5.6%),6 cases of blood stasis type(5.6%),4 cases of phlegm-dampness type(3.7%);peaceful constitution accounted for 21 cases(19.6%).3.According to the distribution of syndrome elements by disease location,the frequency syndrome elements involved in this study were:liver(92.5%),uterus(91.5%),spleen(79.4%),and kidney(60.7%).4.According to the distribution of pathogenic elements,the frequency of disease involved in this disease is as follows:excessive factors:Qi stagnation(96.3%),blood stasis(88%),cold(58%),dampness(43%),heat(21.5%),phlegm(18.7%);deficiency factors:qi deficiency(95.3%),yang deficiency(89.7%),blood deficiency(75.7%),yin deficiency(69.2%),hyperactivity of yang(50.5%),cold in blood(23.4%),qi sinking(8.4%).Conclusion:1.The susceptible constitution of patients with primary dysmenorrhea in Malaysia are Qi depression type,Yang deficiency type,Qi deficiency type,Damp-heat type,Special constitution type.2.The main site of disease were liver,uterus,spleen,and kidney.The main pathogenic factors Qi stagnation qi deficiency yang deficiency,blood stasis,blood deficiency,yin deficiency and cold.3.The pathogenic factors are : dietary preference,execise habits,study and work pressure.Malayisan have an inadequate amount of knowledge with relations to primary dysmenorrhea.Women often relieve menstrual pain by their own way,few will seek medical treatment.4.The prevalent age of primary dysmenorrhea in Malaysia is 18-28 years old.Moderate menstrual pain was the most,followed by was mild menstrual pain and severe menstrual pain.The pain level decrease with age. |
