| Objective:To observe the effect of artificial femoral head replacement and proximal femoral nail anti rotation(PFNA)in the treatment of femoral intertrochanteric fracture in elderly patients and to analyze the effect.Methods:52 cases of elderly patients from 2010 January to 2012 December in hospital with treatment of the fracture, the artificial femoral head replacement(group A)24 cases, internal fixation with PFNA(B group)28 cases. The mean follow-up time was 16 months.Compared two groups in operation time, blood loss in operation, postoperative adverse events,Harris score difference. Results In B group, operation time, operation blood loss was significantly lower than that in A group(P&It;0.05);Compared two groups in postoperative adverse events, the difference was significant(P&It;0.05);Harris scores of the two groups had no significant difference in 3 months after operation(P>0.05),the difference was significant in 6 month,12 months(P&It;0.05).Conclusion:PFNA was an effective method in treatment of intertrochanteric fracture in aged patients. The short operation time, less blood loss, postoperative adverse events, good functional recovery, curative effect was positive, showed that PFNA was a batter method in the treatment of senile femoral intertrochanteric fracture of elderly patients. |
