| Following increase of personal life quality,more attention is being paid on health and an urgent need for healthy products is dramatically growing.Therefore establishment of a great health industry is becoming one of the most popular discussing topics all around the world.Meanwhile,increasing number of healthy companies and institutes are showing up,inducing intensive competition on the healthy service market.As formal medical institutions,providing reliable health services should be the priority of hospitals in the near future development.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)has been playing increasingly essential and irreplaceable roles in healthy serving industry due to its high efficacy,moderate side effect and wide acceptation.The hospitals of Traditional Chinese Medicine,therefore,own promisingly advanced advantage in providing health service.In this study,we make Yunnan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine as a case to explore how the hospitals can overcome their existed challenges and build their own particular health serving platform to win the future competition.First of all,we make use of PEST and 5-D model as powerful tools to analyze the marketing environment of the health industry.In addition,considering the advantage and disadvantage of the hospital,SWOT analysis was conducted to globally assess both opportunities and risks the hospital is facing now.Based on the results,provide optional developmental strategies were provided with high sustainability.After further identification and classification of the targeting market,we summarized the characterizations of the service products,price,channels,serving process,responsibilities and public relationships of the hospitals and in the end discussed safeguards of developmental strategy for the hospital.This study is performed based on the sufficient investigation and communication.We hope this study can help the Yunnan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine build a valuable individual developmental strategy and also be reference for other hospitals. |
