Acupuncture Points "Lu Di Qi Xue" In Patients With Migraine Headache:a Randomized Controlled Clinical Trail

Objective:To observe the efficacy of acupuncture points "lu di qi xue"on migraine headache.Methods:72 patients with migraine headache from acupuncture department between October2017 till January 2018,66 patients was selected(33 in treatment group,33 in control group).Completed treatment and interview,were randomized into treatment group or control group according to random number table.We make observations before treatment,one week after treatment,2nd week after treatment and the last at 4th week after treatment.All patients were interviewed after randomization.The disappearance of the symptoms of headache during the course of treatment were all count as no pain(0 point),end the follow treatment.The SPSS 20.0 statistical software was used to evaluate the change rate of headache days,the number of headache days,the degrees of headache and pain,Visual Analog Scale(VAS)and Verbal Rating Scale(VRS)and to analyze the clinical effect.Patients intreatment group received acupuncture points "lu di qi xue”(DU15 Yamen,BL10 Tianzhu,GB12 Wangu,GB20 Fengchi)and the control group received routine headache acupuncture treatment points(Ashixue,SJ23 Sizhukong,GB8 Shuaigu.EX-HNS Taiyang,GB20 Fengchi,L14 Hegu,LR3 Taichong,GB34 Yanglingquan,SJ5 Waiguan).Results:The treatment group compared with the control group,demonstrate having better efficiency than the control group with a statistically significant effect.Number of the headache days:using two factor repeated measure analysis of variance within group comparison,using test were compared between the two groups.The results showed after treatment,the number of the headache days was lower than the control group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant.The(P=0.016<0.05)headache degree:VAS/VRS score groups comparison results after 4 week treatment,the scores were both lower than before treatment,the number of the headache days from the treatment group was lower then the control group,The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P=0.01<0.05).Conclusion:1.The results of this study show that "lu di qi xue"points are more effective than the control group routine headache acupuncture points.2.1n the process of the study,the two groups had no serious adverse reaction.The acupuncture intervention without serious side-effects is safe to apply to treat migraines headache.
