The Clinical Study On The Therapeutic Effect Of RuYi ZhenBaoWan In The Recovery Period Of Stroke

ObjectiveBy observing the clinical effect of RuYi ZhenBaoWan in treatment of post-stroke motor and sensory disturbance,the purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of RuYi ZhenBaoWan.By investigating the effect of the drug of motor and sensory function and ADL,the study can provide scientific theories and experiment evidences for the clinical use.MethodsSixty patients of post-stroke treated in department of rehabilitation of Guangdong Province Traditional Medical Hospital were randomly divided into the control group(thirty cases)and the observation group(thirty cases).All patients received routine comprehensive rehabilitation treatment and western medicine.In addition the treatment group was treated with the RuYi ZhenBaoWan,control group was given placebos.The course was 4 weeks.Before and after treatment for 4 weeks and 8 weeks,therapeutic evaluation and safety assessment were conducted.Fugl-Meyer assessment(FMA),Berg Balance Scale,FMA-M,Modified Barthel Index(MBI)and Stroke-Specific Quality of Life Scale(SS-QOL-E)were examined to evaluate efficacy,Safety assessment included vital signs,blood and urine routine,liver and renal function,blood coagulation function.Then inputting the collected data into the database,using the statistical software SPSS17.0 to analyze and finally obtains the science the conclusion.ResultsBaseline comparion: There was no statistically significant difference between the observation group and the treatment group on the general data and the pre-treatment FMA,BBS,FMA-M,MBI and SS-QOL-E scores.On the age,differences between the two groups had no statistical significance.In the course of the disease factors,the observation group compared with controls of FMA,MBI had difference.On the motor function damage degree,the treatment group of BBS,MBI score were significantly higher than the control group.On the classification of the causes of stroke,the observation group compared with controls of FMA,MBI had difference in all cerebral infarction.No statistically significant difference was found of the vital signs and liver and kidney function,blood coagulation function,urine routine between two groups after treatment.ConclusionRuYi ZhenBaoWan can improve the physical function and daily life of patients after stroke.There is no serious adverse reaction.The elevation of ALT,WBC in individual cases is not related to drugs.
