Protective Effects Of Flavonoids From Fruits Of Rhamnus Utilis On Alcoholic Liver Injury In Mice And Antioxidant Activities

Rhamnus utilis is a kind of green deciduous shrubs or small trees and it belongs to Rhamnaceae.It is widely distributed in China,and is a very rich plant resource.It is found that leaves and fruits contain flavonoids and show certain antioxidant activity.In recent years,flavonoids have become the object of research by scholars.It has many kinds of activity,such as anti-aging,anti-inflammatory,anti-virus,anti-fatigue,and protecting liver.In this study,fruits of R.utilis were used as materials to explore the antioxidant activities and protective effects on alcoholic liver injury of flavonoids.The research contents and results are as follows:(1)In study about the internal antioxidant activity of flavonoids from fruits of R.utilis.There are six groups: the blank control group,the alcohol group,the VE group,the low,middle,high dose group of flavonoids.The results showed that the flavonoids from fruits of R.utilis could significantly increase the activity of SOD and CAT,significantly increase the content of GSH,and significantly decrease the content of MDA in the serum and liver of mice.The flavonoids from fruits of R.utilis have some antioxidant activity in the body.(2)In study about the protective effect of flavonoids from fruits of R.utilis on alcoholic liver injury,in order to investigate the hepatoprotective effect of flavonoids,an alcoholic liver injury model was established.There are six groups: the blank control group,the alcohol liver injury group,the silybin group,the low,middle,high dose group of flavonoids.Determining and comparing the levels of ALT,AST,TG,TC in serum and SOD,CAT,GSH and MDA in the serum and liver of mice.The results showed that the flavonoids from fruits of R.utilis could significantly reduce the activity of ALT,AST,reduce the content of TC,TG and MDA in the serum of mice with liver injury,and significantly increase the activity of SOD and CAT,and significantly increase the content of GSHin the serum and liver.Therefore,the flavonoids from fruits of R.utilis has a certain protective effect on alcoholic liver injury mice.
