| Objective: To observe the changes of the early visual quality in iris localization combined with wavefront-guided LASEK without epithelial flap of human eyes.Methods: A prospective study of iris localization combined with wavefront-guided LASEK personalized treatment without epithelial flap for myopia(a tltal of 56 cases,118 eyes)in Department of Ophthalmology,the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of China Medical University from March 2016 to April 2017.Press spherical equivalent refraction(SER)divided into mild and moderate myopia group(SER≤-6D)and high myopia group(SER>-6D).The uncorrected visual acuity(UCVA)、objective scattering index(OSI)、Strehl ratio(Sr)、modulation transfer function cut off frequency(MTF cut off)and log(s)were observed and followed up.Results: Visual acuity: Compared with preoperative best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),the uncorrected visual acuity(UCVA)at 1 month after operation in both groups showed a significant decrease(p <0.01;p <0.01);As time went on,it increased gradually and increased at 6 months compared with that before operation(p <0.05;p <0.01).OSI: The OSI of one month after operation in both groups was significantly higher than that before operation(p <0.01;p <0.01);As time went on,it decreased gradually and at 6 months,it is slightly lower than preoperative(p> 0.05;p> 0.05).Sr: The Sr at 1 month after operation in both groups was significantly lower than that before operation(p <0.05;p <0.01);As time went on,it increased gradually and slightly increased at 6 months compared with that before operation(p> 0.05;p> 0.05).MTF cut off: The MTF cut off of one month after operation was lower than that before operation,and there was no significant difference between the mild and moderate myopia groups(p> 0.05)and the difference between the high myopia groups was statistically significant(p <0.01);As time went on,it increased gradually and slightly increased at 6 months compared with that before operation,and there was significant difference between the mild and moderate myopia groups(p <0.01)and no difference between the high myopia groups(p> 0.05).Log(s): Log(s)at 1 month after operation were significantly higher than those before operation,(p <0.01;p <0.01);With time gradually decreased,6 months,basically dropped to the preoperative level,the difference was not statistically significant(p> 0.05;p> 0.05).Conclusion: The results of follow-up at 6 months showed that wavefront-guided LASEK without epithelial flap has a good effect on myopia.The early visual quality has a certain decline,and then gradually increased until 3 to 6months. |
