Preliminary Analysis And Assessment The Curative Of The Socket-shield Technique In Maxillary Anterior Teeth Aesthetic Area Implant Placement

Objective:Preliminary assessment the curative effect of the socket-shield technique in maxillary anterior teeth aesthetic area implant placementMethod: Selection in October 2015 to December 2017 in our hospital of the maxillary anterior dentition defect planting treatment.Using 12 patients with the socket-shield technique,planting group of 16 cases of patients with immediate implant placement.On the surgery day,after 6 months and 12 months for two groups of patients the patients were detected with the thickness of buccal bone plate,probing depth(PD)and pink esthetic score(PES).Result: The thickness of buccal bone plate in the two groups were significantly increased after 6 months(p﹤0.05),the SST group(0.22±0.13)mm is lower than the IIP group(0.53±0.15)mm.After 12 months there was statistically significant difference between the two groups,the SST group(0.43±0.09)mm is lower than the IIP group(0.83±0.09)mm;The probing depth of the two groups were significantly increased after 6 months(p﹤0.05),but the probing depth(1.22±0.03)mm in the SST lower than the IIP(1.90±0.09)mm.After 12 months there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups;,but the probing depth(1.23±0.02)mm in the SST lower than the IIP(1.51±0.06)mm。The indexes of pink esthetic score in both groups were significantly improved;the alveolar shape and labial margin level were remarkable difference between two groups(p﹤0.05),there was no significant difference between the two groups,but the level of alveolar(1.87±0.4)mm and soft tissue(1.8±0.34)mm in the SST higher than the IIP(1.73±0.44)mm、(1.67±0.47)mm。Conclusion:The socket-shield technique effectively solves the problem that the lateral level of the labial is insufficient to the bone mass;preserve the original shape and color of the labial gingiva;shortening treatment cycle and reducing the financial burden of patients.It provides an alternative method for the implant treatment of anterior maxillary teeth.
