| Pur Poses: To compare the effect of floating needle therapy and common acupuncture on the treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation and the relief degree and speed of pain, provide reference for the choice of clinical treatment plan. Methods: In this study,a randomized, controlled clinical study was conducted to randomly divide 72 LDH patients who met the inclusion criteria into the acupuncture control group and the floating-needle treatment group, with 36 cases in each group to discuss the study. Two groups are 2 courses of treatment, floating needle group every half a month for three treatment for a period of treatment, two treatment time interval at least 3 days, acupuncture treatment 10 times every half a month for a period of treatment, respectively before and after treatment and 1 month after completion of two course evaluation, the scale for assessment of curative effect using JOA,VAS score.Results:1.The baseline analysis results showed that there was no statistical difference in gender, age, body mass index,TCM syndrome type and lumbar protrusion in the two groups(P >0.05),which was comparable.2.Results of treatment show:(1)according to JOA score, there were statistically significant differences between the two groups(P < 0.05).The comparison between the two groups was better than that of the acupuncture group(P < 0.05)after one course of treatment and after two courses of treatment, but the efficacy of the two groups was comparable(P >0.05)after 1 month follow-up.(2)JOA score of the gluteus medius, which was statistically significant(P < 0.05),and no statistical significance(P >0.05)in the acupuncture group.(3)according to the VAS score, the comparison between the two groups after the first treatment was not statistically significant(P >0.05),and the floating needle group was statistically significant(P < 0.05).At the end of the treatment, the comparison between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The comparison between the two groups was significantly better than that of the acupuncture group.(4)the total effective rate of the floating needle treatment group was 91.2%,and the total effective rate of the acupuncture control group was 78.8%,and the two groups were statistically significant(P < 0.05).(5)there was no statistically significant difference in safety and compliance between the two groups(P >0.05).Conclusions:1.Floating acupuncture treatment of lumbar disc herniation in symptoms, signs and daily life improvement is greater than acupuncture treatment, but long-term efficacy is comparable with acupuncture treatment.2.Floating needle treatment of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation in pain relief rate and pain improvement is greater than acupuncture treatment.3.Floating-needle therapy is better than acupuncture for improving the pain symptom of the gluteal muscle, suggesting that the effect of floating on the deep muscle is better than that of acupuncture.4.Both groups have good safety and compliance. |
