| Objective:By discussing the tumor necrosis factor(TNF alpha),interleukin 10(IL-10)and interleukin-18(IL-18)in patients with oral lichen planus(OLP)in saliva and serum expression and analyze its correlation,in order to further study the correlation between OLP and the degree of inflammation of OLP,to provide objective indexes for evaluating the condition of OLP and to monitor the progress of OLP,as well as to provide the basis for noninvasive detection of OLP.Methods:Choice in the oral cavity mucous membrane of hospital of shanxi medical university(January 2017 to December 2017)by the clinical and pathological diagnosis of oral lichen planus in 40 patients with as experimental component 2 group(20 cases of OLP erosion group,20 cases of OLP reticular group);twenty healthy controls. The fasting venous blood was collected before treatment and in control group. The unstimulated saliva was collected one hour after breakfast. The levels of TNF-α 、IL-10 and IL-18 in saliva and serum of the three groups were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).The results were compared between three groups using Kruskal-Wallis rank and test, and nemenyi test was used in the group. Results:In saliva, there was no significant difference in the content of IL-10 between the three groups(P=0.216).There was no significant difference in IL-18 content between erosive group and reticulated group(P = 0.057),the difference of IL-18 between erosive group and healthy control group was statistically significant(P = 0.013),there was no significant difference in IL-18 between the reticulated group and the healthy control group(P =0.859).There were statistically significant differences in the TNF-α difference between the erosion group and the reticulate group(P = 0.030),and the difference of TNF-α between erosive group and healthy control group was statistically significant(P < 0.001),and there was significant difference in TNF-αcontent between the reticulated group and the healthy control group(P = 0.002).In serum, there was no statistically significant difference between the three groups of IL-10(P=0.878).There was no statistically significant difference between the three groups of IL-18(P=0.458).There was significant difference between erosion group and reticulum group(P=0.002),there was significant difference in TNF-αbetween erosive group and healthy control group(P < 0.001),and there was significant difference in TNF-α between the reticulated group and the healthy control group(P = 0.024).Correlation Analysis of IL-10 IL-18 in saliva and saliva, there was no correlation between the level of IL-10 in serum and saliva(P=0.338),and there was no correlation between the content of IL-18 in serum and saliva(P=0.476).There was a positive correlation between the content of TNF-α serum and saliva(r=0.576,P<0.001).There was no correlation between IL-10,IL-18 and TNF-α in saliva(all P > 0.05),and there was no correlation between IL-10,IL-18 and TNF-α in serum(P > 0.05).There was no correlation between the expression of il-10 in the healthy control group, the reticulate group and the erosion group(all P > 0.05).There was no correlation between the expression of il-18 in the healthy control group, the reticulate group and the erosion group(all P > 0.05).The expression of TNF-α in healthy control group, the reticular group and the erosion group was positively correlated(all P<0.01).Conclusion:The purpose to detect the expression of TNF-α 、IL-10 and IL-18 in saliva and serum of OLP patients of this study was to explore the objective indexes of evaluating the condition of OLP and monitoring the progress of the disease.1.The levels of IL-10 in saliva and serum of patients were higher than those in healthy controls, but there was no statistical significance.Therefore,interleukin-10 could not be used as an index for the evaluation of oral lichen planus.2.Saliva erosion patients IL-18 expressing quantity higher than the healthy control group and the difference is statistically significant, patients’ serum IL-18 there was no statistically significant difference compared with healthy controls, prompting saliva IL-18 on the serum sensitive monitoring degree of inflammation of OLP.3.TNF-α in the healthy control group, the reticular group and the erosion group stability of expression, gradually rise and expression in saliva and serum were positively correlated, prompt detection of saliva and the expression level of serum TNF-α as OLP condition evaluation of objective, quantifiable indicators is worthy of further research.4.Saliva TNF-α detection is superior to serum detection in noninvasive aspects and has a broader research prospect. |
