Clinical Observation Of Compound Huangbai Lotion In Treating Infantile Eczema(Damp-Heat Retention Syndrome)

Objective: To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of compound Phellodendron amurense liquid on infantile eczema(damp-heat retention syndrome),explore the etiology and pathogenesis of infantile eczema,guide rational drug use,and provide rationale for effective treatment of infantile eczema with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: From January 2018 to December 2018,60 children with eczema were collected from the pediatric outpatient department of the affiliated hospital of Changchun university of traditional Chinese medicine,and their TCM syndromes were analyzed.the children with eczema who met the inclusion criteria of damp-heat retention syndrome were randomly divided into two groups according to the randomized grouping control method,namely the treatment group and the control group.the treatment group was given compound cortex phellodendri solution and the control group was given calamine lotion.the course of treatment was 14 days.Clinical observation was carried out on the two groups.The symptom score was taken as the observation index to observe the changes of target skin lesion degree(erythema,papule,exudation,erosion,infiltration,etc.),whole body skin lesion area and pruritus degree before and after treatment.Statistical data were analyzed and conclusions were obtained.Results: Comparison of therapeutic effects: 30 patients in the treatment group were cured in 14 cases,markedly effective in 11 cases,effective in 4 cases and ineffective in 1case.The recovery rate was 46.67%,the effective rate was 36.67%,the effective rate was13.33%,the ineffective rate was 3.33%,and the total effective rate was 96.67%.In the control group,30 patients were cured,7 cases were cured,12 cases were markedly effective,8 cases were effective,and 3 cases were ineffective.The cure rate was 23.33%,the apparent efficiency was 40%,the effective rate was 26.67%,the ineffective rate was10%,and the total effective rate was 90%.There was a significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups(p < 0.05),indicating that the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.The difference between theclinical scores of the two groups after treatment and that before treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that both groups were effective in treatment.The difference in clinical scores after treatment between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion: The external application of compound phellodendron liquid has obvious clinical effect in treating infantile eczema(damp-heat retention syndrome).The compound phellodendron liquid is obviously superior to the control group in reducing papules and improving the skin lesion area of eczema children.No obvious adverse reactions occur during the application period.It is fully proved that the external application of compound phellodendron liquid,a traditional Chinese medicine preparation,is suitable for clinical application and promotion in treating infantile eczema.
