Data Analysis And Clinical Observation Of Tcm In The Treatment Of Diabetic Retinopathy

Objective: To explore the rule of TCM in Diabetic Retinopathy(DR),Summing up the main drugs,categories of drugs,and drug equivalence of the treatment,analyze the results,formulate a prescription for treatment of DR on stage I to III,and set up a clinical trial to test the clinical efficacy of the prescription,in order to prove the value of this literature research.Methods: Collected nearly 10 years’ literatures about TCM treatment of DR in China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI).Used Excel and Clementine software to build databases and processed data,then analyzed high-frequency herbal medicine.The TCM symptom score,eyesight and fundus condition in 30 cases of DR on stage I to III before and after treatment were evaluated,and the clinical efficacy of the prescription was observed.Results: A total of 122 articles were selected and 174 Chinese herbs for the treatment of DR were obtained,and the total use frequency was 1501 times.The 22 herbal medicine use frequency is greater than 20 times.Statistical analysis of herbs use is the highest frequency of tonify deficiency drugs,heat medicines and stasis-dissolving drugs.The three kinds of significant medicine property are slight cold,flat and cold.The three most commonly kinds of herb taste are sweet,bitter and Xin.Drugs were classified by meridian the top five are the liver,kidney,heart,spleen and lung.The commonly used drugs are Radix rehmannia and Salviae miltiorrhizae,Radix rehmannia and astragalus,pseudo-ginseng and Salvia miltiorrhiza,etc.The clinical trials show that the therapeutic effect of the self-made prescription is significant before and after the treatment of DR,and it can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of DR.Conclusion:The main herbal medicine for the treatment of DR are tonify deficiency drugs,heat medicines and stasis-dissolving drugs.Pathogenesis based on root deficiency and branch excess.The clinical trial confirmed the clinical application value of nourishing Qi and Yin,activating blood in the treatment of diabetic retinopathy,which laid the foundation for future research.
