| Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of routine drainage after percutaneo us tr-ansforaminal endoscopic discectomy(PTED)for lumbar disc herniation(LDH).M etho-ds:The clinical data of 50 patients underwent PTED for LDHwere analyzed d uring Apirl 2018 to July 2018 in the First Affilliated of Xinjiang Medical Universit y,and were assigned to drainage group and non-drainage group(each with 25 cases),according to the dealing way after operation.the Clinical efficacy was assessed by com-paring volume of seepage, status and healing of wound, infection, body tempe rature, hospital stays, postoperative visual analogue scale(VAS)score and oswestry d isabilit-y index(ODI)score on day 1,3 in both group. Results:The volume of seep age w-as about(5~35)ml in drainage group and(3~21)ml in non-drainage group.Th ere w-ere 2 cases of leakage of cerebrospinal fluid in drainage group and 1 case i n non-drainage group.Severe complications and incision infection had not be seen i n both group.Bodytemperature, hospital stays, postoperative VAS and ODIs core on d ay 1,3 we-re no statistically significant differences between the two group(P>0.05).Conclusi-ons: Whether to drainage should individucation.Under the strict control o f PTED indication and skillful operation, routine drainage after PTED can not be taken. |
