| Purpose:In this study,patients with liver metastases from colorectal cancer were enrolled in the study.The Chinese medicine combined chemotherapy group and the chemotherapy group were respectively set up to observe,record and analyze the improvement of TCM syndromes,objective clinical efficacy,tumor indicators,coagulation related indicators,KPS.Evaluation of the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of liver metastases from colorectal cancer with scoring,quality of life scores,toxicity and side effects,in order to provide a reference for the comprehensive treatment of liver metastases in colorectal cancer.Methods:Forty-eight patients with colorectal cancer with liver metastases were randomly divided into treatment group(n=25)and control group(n=23).The treatment group was treated with Jianpi Huayu Recipe combined with Western medicine chemotherapy;the control group only used Western medicine chemotherapy.TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment,solid tumor size,tumor markers(CEA,CA19-9),coagulation-related indicators(D-dimer,FIB),KPS score,quality of life scale score,and chemotherapy toxicity were recorded.The indicators of the reaction,the information is compiled into the EXCEL database,and statistical analysis is performed using SPSS22.0.Outcomes:1.In the aspect of TCM syndrome,the effective rate of the treatment group was 80%.Compared with the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that the treatment group can effectively improve the TCM syndrome of patients;2.In terms of objective efficacy,after treatment for 2 courses,RR:36%,DCR:84%;control group RR:34.78%,DCR:82.61%,the treatment group had a slight advantage over the control group,but the difference was not statistically significant.Significance(P>0.05),indicating that both Jianpi Huayu Recipe combined with chemotherapy or chemotherapy alone had no significant effect on improving objective tumor size.3.In terms of tumor indicators,after two courses of treatment,the CEA and CA19-9 indexes of the two groups were lower than before,but the difference was not obvious,and there was no statistical significance,indicating that the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and chemotherapy alone improved the tumor index of patients.4.In the coagulation index,after treatment for 2 courses,the D-dimer of the treatment group decreased significantly after treatment,and the difference in the group was statistically significant(P<0.05).The D-dimer comparison before and after treatment in the control group did not show.There was a statistical difference(P>0.05).There was no significant change in FIB index before and after treatment in both groups(P>0.05).5.In terms of KPS score,after two courses of treatment,the KPS score in the treatment group was significantly higher than that before treatment and after treatment in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that TCM combined with chemotherapy had prominent advantages over chemotherapy alone,which could significantly improve the physical condition of patients.6.In terms of quality of life,after two courses of treatment,the quality of life score of the treatment group was improved compared with that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the quality of life of the control group was not sig,nificantly improved before and after treatment,and there was no statistical difference,indicating that jianpi huayu prescription combined with chemotherapy had better efficacy in improving the quality of life of patients.7.In terms of toxic and side ef-fects,after 2 courses of treatment,there were no serious adverse events or serious liver damage in the two groups.The main adverse reactions were in hematological toxicity and gastrointestinal reactions,and the treatment group improved patients.The curative effect of nausea,vomiting and diarrhea was more prominent,and it was significantly different from the control group(P<0.05),which further confirmed the safety and effectiveness of Jianpi Huayu Recipe.Conclusion:Liver metastasis of colorectal cancer belongs to the advanced stage of the tumor.The patient has a large tumor burden,accompanied by more symptoms,lower quality of life,and shorter life expectancy.However,Jianpi Huayu Recipe assists Western medicine chemotherapy in the treatment of colorectal cancer liver metastasis in obj ective clinical efficacy.There was no significant improvement,but the improvement of TCM syndrome,the improvement of coagulation function,the improvement of KPS score,the improvement of quality of life were clear,and the adverse reactions were lighter and safe. |
