With the improvement of living standards and increasing of national strength, countries and people’s understanding of health is more in-depth.The “health Chinese strategy” presented by President Xi Jinping in the work report of the 19 th CPC national congress, which vigorously promotes the fusion of national fitness and health, shows that the country attaches great importance to public health. The latest epidemiological studies show that there are currently 11 milion stroke patients in China, and about 2.4 milion new cases occur each year of which 1.1 milion died. The surviving stroke patients are in varying degrees of dysfunction, which seriously affect the quality of life of patients and bring huge burden to the society.Pusher syndrome is a special clinical manifestation in stroke patients, which incidence was reported abroad by 10% in acute stroke patients.Patients push their bodies hard against the ipsilesional side of the body in any position, even toppling over, and resist any attempt to correct the trend.Pusher syndrome seriously affects patients’ balance, making it impossible to sitting, standing and walking. If it cannot be effectively treated, the length of stay will be prolonged, medical expenses will be increased, and the quality of life of patients will be seriously affected.Research purpose:(1)The surface electromyography is used to provide an objective index for clinical evaluation of pusher syndrome.(2)Surface electromyography was used to evaluate pusher syndrome attempt to provide new ideas for treatment.(3)To observe the effect of forced side tilting on patients with pusher syndrome, discuss theirs pathogenesis and recovery mechanism.Research method: Ten stroke patients with tilt syndrome as the experimental group were selected from the inpatients in the department of rehabilitation medicine of hebei general hospital.Ten healthy adults of the same age, body type and sex were recruited as the control group.Choose 8 muscles based on experience and expert advice. Before and after intervention the surface electromyography was measured when patients with or without occluded vision. The angle of the head and truck will also be measured.Research result: There was a significant difference in the muscle activity, angle of head and of trunk when patients with or without occluded vision. After the intervention, all the patients performed significant improvement.Research conclude:(1)The muscle most associated with pusher syndrome is the gastrocnemius muscle and its averaged electromyography can be used as an objective evaluation index of tilt syndrome.(2)Effective control of gastrocnemius contraction may be a treatment for pusher syndrome.(3)The Angle between head and gravity has the greatest influence on pusher syndrome, and adjusting the angle of the head may improve the pusher behavior.(4)Forced tilted is effective in correcting sitting balance of pusher syndrome.
