Research On Patent Thickets Identification Method In The Creation Of Major New Drugs

Objective:Identifying patent thickets phenomenon in a certain technical field by mining patent data information in specific technical fields.The patent thickets identification method and measurement index are constructed to improve the patent thickets identification method,make up for the shortcomings of the existing methods,and provide a research paradigm for the identification of patent thickets.Objectively identify the patent thickets phenomenon in the field of biomedicine,comprehensively grasp the patent strategy layout of an industry,and provide information support for the R&D institutions to select the main patentees for cooperation.It can reduce the risk of infringement of R&D institutions in the process of technological innovation,enhance the safety of technological innovation,and break the technical blockade to enhance the vitality of technological innovation.Method:The literature research method,patent information analysis,social network analysis and other methods are used to determine the definition and performance characteristics of the patent thickets.After analyzing the performance characteristics of the patent thickets,the various measurement indicators and their calculation methods involved in the identification method are determined.After selecting the research technology field,the relevant patent data is retrieved to build a local patent database.The patent data is cleaned,de-weighted,and statistically preprocessed by means of Matlab software.The processed data is imported into Gephi to generate a patented thickets identification network map,and then cut through the two levels of technical basic value strength and technical association strength to clarify the final patent thickets area.Result:Through the patent thickets identification method proposed in this study,the identification of patent thickets in this field has been realized in the field of antileukemia drug technology,and the main research directions of basic patents in the germination,growth and maturity stages of the technology have been identified.The research and development of basic patents in the field has gradually evolved from the initial basic antibody binding to antibody-mediated targeted therapy and molecular targeted therapy,and to the current research target of anticancer drugs,the research of isocitrate dehydrogenase inhibitors.The development of the patent thickets has not seen the thickets from the initial germination stage,and the transition to the growing period of the thickets mainly involves the development of basic patents in the germination stage of technology,and the technical field of the patent thickets in the mature stage revolves around technology.The growth of basic patents in the growth period has evolved dynamically.The feasibility and effectiveness of the method are evaluated by the application of the patented thickets identification method.Conclusion:Using the patent thickets identification method proposed in this study,the patent thickets area can be accurately identified.Through the drawing of the patent thickets identification map,the development trend of the patent thickets is presented in a simple and intuitive way,which provides a reference for the formulation of the patent strategic layout.Avoid the risk of technical infringement and improve the efficiency of technological innovation.Compared with the existing patent thickets identification method,the method enhances the objectivity of the analysis results and effectively identifies the patent thickets phenomenon during the different technological development stages in the field of leukemia drug technology.
