Clinical Study On The Appendiceal Abscess Treating By Xiaoyong Decoction

Objective:To observe and explore the clinical effect of xiaoyongtang on periappendiceal.Methods:Setting up two groups.For treatment group,treatments are applied to xiaoyongtang based on western medicine.But members in the control group would receive pure western medicine treatments.According to the result of two groups,we can study the curative effect of two therapies on periappendicural abscess.Then to make a evaluation.Control group:Pure western medicine.250ml 0.9%Sodium Chloride with ceftriaxone 2g ivgtt qd(0.9%NaCl 250ml with levofloxacin 0.4g ivgtt qd for people with cephalosporin allergies).And Tinidazole 0.4g 100ml ivgtt bid.Treatment group:Xiaoyongtang,western medicine.The composition and usage of xiaoyongtang:peach kernel 10g,carthamus tinctorious 10g,angelica sinensis 20g,flos lonicerae 20g,radix paeoniae rubra 10g,cortex moutan 10g,radix Aucklandiae 10g,forsythiae fructus 12g,pericapium citri reticulatae viride 10 g,rhizome sparganii 10 g,fructus Amomi Rotundus 10g,rhubarb 10g,Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma 6g.Take one pair of medicine every day.The walter should be boilded to be 300ml.Take each 150ml both at morning and night without any interval.Observe the status for two weeks.And determine the efficacy by the changes in clinical symptoms,signs and laboratory indicators of the two groups.Results:Compare the treatment group with control group after one or two weeks’ treatment.On temperature recovery time.Treatment group are shorter than the control group with statistical significance(P<0.01).On the duration of pain at right lower quadrant abdominal.Treatment group are shorter than the control group with statistical significance(P<0.01).On the count of leukocyte and the percentage of neutrophil.The curative effect of two groups is the same.Has no statistical significance(P>0.05).On the ability of reducing c-reactive protein.The treatment group is much better than control group with statistical significance(P<0.01).On the size of lumps after one or two weeks’ treatment.The treatment group is much better than control group with statistical significance(P<0.01).The availability of the two groups are 100%.But the treatment group has a high cure rate with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of xiaoyongtang based on western medicine has a good improvement.It can shorten the temperature recovery time and the time of pain at right lower quadrant abdominal.It also could promote the absorption of lump at right lower quadrant abdominal and speed up the the recovery of CRP.So it can improve the curative effect,shorten the time fo treatment,relieve symptoms,reduce the patients’ economic burden.And the curative effect is undoublted It gives us a view of the possibilities of Chinese medichine being used on clinical treatment.However,due to the limited number of clinical samples and insufficient refinement of the grouping,the results may be biased,which still needs further study and discussion.
