OBJECTIVE: our purpose was to study the effects of levamlodipine besylate a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker,on mather and fetus in the treatment of hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy, and to observe if there is a influence for blood homocysteine on the treatment of maternal antihypertension.METHOD: The investigation was performed as a two-group,controlled study of levamlodipine besylate versus nifedipine.1.From June 2018 to September 2013,62 patients were selected to join this trial according to the Guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy(2015)by the Chinese Medical Association Obstetrics and Gynecology Branch. The registered patients were randomly divided into the experimental group(30 cases)and the control group(32 cases). In the experimental group, patients were administrated levoamlodipine besylate 2.5-5 mg was administered once a day,and the control group was given nifedipine sustained-release tablets 20 mg once every 12 hours or once every 8 hours.2.Follow up the patient’s blood pressure, pregnancy outcomes.Record the patient’s blood homocysteine, body mass index, taking folic acid, past history, genetic history, blood lipids, uric acid, creatinine, platelets, transaminase. The obtained data measurement data were expressed by mean ± standard deviation(sx ±)and compared by Student test, count data using Chi-square test, statistical analysis using SPSS17.0 software,P<0.05 difference was statistically significant.RESULTS: Levamlodipine besylate was safe and effective in the treatment of mild to moderate hypertensive disorder of second and third trimester of pregnancy, the efficacy was comparable to nifedipine sustained-release tablets, the pregnancy outcomes were better than nifedipine sustained-release tablets. The maternal blood homocysteine level has no significant effect on the antihypertensive effect of calcium channel blockers.CONCLUSIONS: The efficacy of levamlodipine besylate in patients with mild to moderate gestational hypertension is comparable to that of nifedipine sustained-release tablets, and the pregnancy outcome is better than nifedipine sustained-release tablets.2.The level of homocysteine had no significant effect on the antihypertensive effect of hypertensive pregnancy.
