Objective: To determine the levels of blood uric acid(BUC),uric acid creatinine ratio(UA/CR)and creatinine clearance rate(CCR)in patients with different types of chronic heart failure. To explore the relationship between ejection fraction and biochemical indexes such as serum uric acid in patients with chronic heart failure, and to provide basis for prevention and treatment of heart failure. Methods: 94 patients with coronary heart disease and chronic heart failure were randomly selected from the First Affiliated Hospital of Wannan Medical College. All patients with coronary heart disease had been shown by coronary angiography that at least one coronary artery stenosis was more than 50%.All patients with heart failure met the criteria of the Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Heart Failure in 2014.The patient's basic medical history and medication were measured and recorded on the day of admission. The fasting venous blood was collected on the second day of admission. The whole blood was centrifuged in a centrifuge at a speed of 2000 rpm.The serum uric acid and creatinine levels were measured respectively. The left ventricular ejection fraction was measured by Simpson method.According to ejection fraction, all patients were divided into ejection fraction retention group(HFpEF group,n=37),ejection fraction median group(HFmrEF group,n=32)andejection fraction reduction group(HFrEF group,n=25).Another 19 patients with coronary heart disease without chronic heart failure were selected as the control group. Results: 1.The level of serum uric acid in HFrEF group(518.74(+149.79 umol/L)was significantly higher than that in control group(352.16(+105.29 umol/L),P < 0.01;the level of serum uric acid in HFpEF group(385.25(+130.57 umol/L)and HFmrEF group(446.34(+155.47 umol/L)had no significant difference,P > 0.05;2.The difference of BNP level was statistically significant(P > 0.05).3.There was no significant difference in uric acid-creatinine ratio and creatinine clearance among the groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion: The level of serum uric acid in patients with coronary heart disease and chronic heart failure is independent of renal function and negatively correlated with ejection fraction.
