ObjectivesTo investigate the status quo of psychosocial resilience,coping style and quality of life i n neoadjuvant chemotherapy patients with esophageal cancer;to analyze the correlation between ps ychosocial resilience,coping style and quality of life;and to further explore and analyze the influ encing factors of patients' quality of life.To provide basis and guidance for improving patients' qual ity of life and formulating corresponding treatment measures in the future.MethodsFrom November 2017 to September 2018,230 neoadjuvant chemotherapy patients with es ophageal cancer in thoracic surgery of a third-grade A-level cancer hospital in Henan Province we re investigated by convenience sampling.A total of 230 questionnaires were distributed and 220 va lid questionnaires were recovered,with an effective recovery rate of 95.65%.The main survey too ls used are: general information questionnaire,Chinese version of the Resilience Scale(CD-RISC),Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire(MCMQ),cancer patients quality of life scale(EORTC QL Q-C30)(V3.0 Chinese version).Epidata 3.1 software was used to input the data and SPSS17.0 so ftware was used for statistical analysis.Statistical analysis methods: Metrological data were describ ed by means of standard deviation,and counting data were described by frequency and percentag e.;T test and variance analysis were used to compare the differences in scores of resilience and quality of life between groups.Pearson correlation analysis was used to show the relationship betw een resilience,coping style and quality of life in neoadjuvant chemotherapy patients with esophage al cancer.Multivariate stepwise linear regression analysis was used to explore the influencing fact ors of quality of life.ResultsThe scores of resilience,resilience,optimism and self-improvement in neoadjuvant chemo therapy for esophageal cancer patients were(56.60±6.86),(2.16±0.35),(2.23±0.50)and(2.42±0.35).2.The total score of coping style of neoadjuvant chemotherapy patients with esophageal cancer was(48.00±5.42).The score of avoidance dimension was(16.70±3.00).The score of yield dimension was(12.29±2.70).The score of face dimension was(19.12±3.27).3.The overall health status score of neoadjuvant chemotherapy patients with esophageal cancer was(60.19±13.04)The scores of each dimension in functional field were poor,and the sco res of cognitive function were the lowest(56.38±17.50).The scores of each dimension in sympto matic field were higher,and the scores of anorexia were the highest(43.71±18.50).4.There were significant differences in the scores of psychosocial resilience among neoa djuvant chemotherapy esophageal cancer patients with different gender,marital status,educational l evel and family per capita monthly income(P<0.001 or P<0.05);there were significant differences in the scores of quality of life among neoadjuvant chemotherapy esophageal cancer patients with different age,marital status,gender,educational level,family per capita monthly income,long-ter m residence and BMI.(P<0.001 or P<0.05).5.Psychological resilience was positively correlated with quality of life in neoadjuvant c hemotherapy patients with esophageal cancer(r=0.380,P<0.01);coping styles of face-to-face and avoidance were positively correlated with quality of life(r=0.490,P<0.01;r=0.485,P<0.01);and coping styles of yield were negatively correlated with quality of life(r=0.456,P<0.01).6.Avoidance,tenacity,submission,family per capita monthly income,education level and face as predictors of quality of life can explain 51% of the total variation.Conclusions1.Psychological resilience of neoadjuvant chemotherapy patients with esophageal cancer i s at a low level.Gender,marital status,educational level,family per capita monthly income and l ong-term residence are the influencing factors of psychological resilience.2.Neoadjuvant chemotherapy patients with esophageal cancer tend to adopt avoidance an d submission coping styles.3.The overall health status of neoadjuvant chemotherapy patients with esophageal cancer is not high,and their functional areas are relatively poor.The patients suffer from fatigue,nause a and vomiting,diarrhea,financial difficulties and other symptoms.Gender,marital status,educational level,family per capita monthly income,long-term residence and BMI are the influencing fact ors of quality of life.4.The higher the level of psychoelasticity of neoadjuvant chemotherapy,the better the q uality of life;on the contrary,the worse the level of psychoelasticity,the worse the quality of lif e.The more avoidance and face-to-face coping styles patients adopt,the better their quality of life is.The more patients adopt the submissive coping style,the worse their quality of life.
