Clinical Study Of Yupingfeng Granule In Prevention And Treatment Of Repeated Respiratory Tract Infection In Children

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of YupingfengGranule in the prevention and treatment of recurrent respiratory tract infections in children,and its effect on immune substances in children’s respiratory tract,and to explore the possible mechanism of influence,so as to provide certain basis for clinical treatment.Methods Sixty children with recurrent respiratory tract infections treated in pediatrics of our hospital from March 2017 to April2018 were divided into two groups according to random number table method.The experimental group: 30 cases in acute stage were given anti-infection therapy plus symptomatic treatment,and Yupingfeng Granule was given orally,and Yupingfeng Granule was given orally in remission stage for 1 month;Control group:30 cases were given anti-infective therapy plus symptomatic treatment only in acute stage,and placebo orally in remission stage.Another 30 healthy children in the physical examination center of our hospital at the same time were selected as the normal group.To collect the related data of children in each group about 1 year before and after medication,and to analyzethe change of respiratory tract infection frequency,course and disease type,so as to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Yupingfeng Granule.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used to determine the contents of sIgA and HBD-2 in saliva of respiratory mucosa samples of all children in the same period1 day before treatment and 1 month after treatment.Result1.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the contents of sIgA and HBD-2 in the respiratory mucosa between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05),but they were significantly lower than those in the normal group(P<0.01).2.After one month of treatment,the contents of sIgA and HBD-2in the respiratory mucosa of RRTI children in the experimental group increased significantly compared with those before treatment(P<0.01),while the contents of sIgA and HBD-2 in the respiratory mucosa of RRTI children in the control group did not change significantly compared with those before treatment(P>0.05).3.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the number of respiratory tract infections,course of disease and type of disease between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05).4.After 1 month of treatment and 1 year of follow-up period,the number,course and types of respiratory tract infection in the experimental group were significantly improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.01),but there was nosignificant difference between the normal group(P>0.05)and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusions1.Respiratory mucosal immune function in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection was lower than that in healthy children of the same age.2.Yupingfeng Granule can effectively reduce the number of infections in children with recurrent respiratory tract infections.3.Yupingfeng Granule can reduce the level of infection in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection and shorten the course of each attack.4.Yupingfeng Granule can enhance the immune function of respiratory mucosa in children with recurrent respiratory tract infection(detection of sIgA and HBD-2 content in respiratory mucosa).
