| Objective:To summarize the experience of famous TCM doctors, observe the clinical efficacy of sanhanjiedu decoction in the treatment of wind-cold type peripheral facial paralysis, discuss its mechanism and treatment advantages, evaluate its clinical application value, and enrich the treatment methods of traditional Chinese medicine for peripheral facial paralysis. Methods:Sixty patients with wind-cold type peripheral facial paralysis who met the criteria were randomly divided into the conventional treatment group of western medicine(control group)and the combination of sanhanjiedu decoction with the conventional treatment group of western medicine(treatment group). Each group was treated for 2 courses(14 days for each course). There were 30 cases in the control group and 30 cases in the treatment group. Before treatment and at the end of each treatment course, patients in the two groups were evaluated by house-brackmann(h-b)facial nerve function grading scale and TCM symptom score scale of unsocial mouth, and the evaluation data were statistically analyzed by SPSS 19.0 software to evaluate the clinical efficacy of the t,two groups.Results:(1)comparison of h-b functional grading between the two groups:After 14 days and 28 days of treatment, both groups showed improvement in facial nerve function grading, and the improvement in facial nerve function grading in the treatment group was better tha n that in the control group(P<0.05).(2)comparison of h-b function scores between the two groups:The score of facial nerve function in both groups was increased, and the h-b function score of patients in the treatment group was better than that of the control group. The score after 28 days of treatment was(6.83±1.20),higher than that of the control group(6.24±1.73),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)comparison of the efficacy of h-b scale between the two groups:Both groups were effective. After 14 days of treatment, the effective rate of the treatment group was 82.76%,higher than that of the control group(72.41%)(P<0.05).After 28 days of treatment, the effective rate of the treatment group was 89.66%,higher than that of the control group(82.76%,P<0.05),and the total effective rate of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(4)comparison of TCM symptom scores of unsocial mouth in the two groups:The TCM symptom score of the treatment group was better than that of the control group, and the score after 28 days of treatment was(5.45±8.16),lower than that of the control group(9.24±5.11),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)evaluation and comparison of the curative effect of two groups of patients with dystonic symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine:Both groups were effective. After 14 days of treatment, the effective rate of the treatment group was 93.10%,higher than that of the control group(75.86%)(P<0.05).After 28 days of treatment, the effective rate of the treatment group was 93.10%,higher than 89.66%of the control group(P<0.05),and the total effective rate of the treatment group was better than the control group. Conclusion:From the perspective of house-brackmann(h-b)facial nerve function grading and TCM symptom score, the clinical symptoms of sanhanjiedu decoction in treating wind-cold type peripheral facial paralysis have been significantly improved, which is worthy of further research and clinical promotion. |
