Clinical Observation On Kidney-essence Deficiency Neurological Tinnitus Treated By Abdominal Acupuncture Under The Guidance Of Bakuo Theory And Body Acupuncture

Objective To explore the clinical effect of abdominal acupuncture combined with body acupuncture in the treatment of kidney-essence deficiency neurological tinnitus,thus to provide a more effective acupuncture scheme for the treatment of kidney-essence deficiency neurological tinnitus and to further improve the curative effect of acupuncture in the treatment of kidney-essence deficiency neurological tinnitus.Methods A commonly used randomized controlled research method was applied to this study,in which 70 cases of kidney-essence deficiency neurological tinnitus patients were randomly divided into abdominal acupuncture combined with body acupuncture group and body acupuncture group,35 cases in each group.In abdominal acupuncture combined with body acupuncture group,these acupoints were selected:abdominal acupoints Zhongwan(CV 12),Xiawan(CV 10),Qihai(CV 6),Guanyuan(CV 4),Yindu(KI 19)(bilateral),Qixue(bilateral),Shangqu(KI 17)(bilateral),Huaroumen(ST 24)(bilateral),and body acupoints Yifeng(TE 17)(affected side),Tinggong(SI 19)(affected side),Tinghui(GB 2)(affected side),Ermen(TE 21)(affected side),Shuaigu(GB 8)(affected side),Zhongzhu(TE 3)(bilateral),Xiaxi(GB 43)(bilateral),Taixi(KI 3)(bilateral),Shenshu(BL 23)(bilateral);in body acupuncture group,the same body acupoints were selected.Filiform needle acupuncture and biological lamp irradiation were used in both group.Both groups were treated once a day,5 times for one course,an interval of 2 days between each course,4 courses of treatment totally.For the two groups of tinnitus patients,Tinnitus handicap inventory(THI)was collected before treatment,at the end of the treatment and 1 month after the treatment.Visual analogue score(VAS)of tinnitus loudness was collected before treatment,after the first treatment and at the end of the treatment.Tinnitus severity was graded before treatment and at the end of the treatment.The clinical effect was evaluated according to the grade of tinnitus severity.Two sets of data were analyzed using SPSS22.0 software package to compare the differences of curative effect between the two groups.Results ①THI score at the end of the treatment and one month after the treatment in both groups were significantly lower than that before the treatment(P<0.05),in which the scores of abdominal acupuncture combined with body acupuncture group were significantly lower than that of body acupuncture group.②VAS of tinnitus loudness after the first treatmentat and at the end of the treatment were significantly lower than that before the treatment,in which the scores of abdominal acupuncture combined with body acupuncture group were significantly lower than that of body acupuncture group(P<0.05).③The grade of tinnitus severity at the end of the treatment in both groups were obviously improved compared to that before the treatment(P<0.05),in which the grades of abdominal acupuncture combined with body acupuncture group were improved more significantly than that of body acupuncture group(P<0.05).④At the end of the treatment,the total effective rate of abdominal acupuncture combined with acupuncture group was 88.24%,which was significantly higher than that of body acupuncture group 66.67%(P<0.05).Conclusion:Abdominal acupuncture combined with body acupuncture can effectively relieve the tinnitus sound in patients with neurological tinnitus of kidney-essence deficiency type and improve tinnitus evaluation index.The effect is rapid,effective,safe and no side effects,better than simple body acupuncture treatment.Therefore,on the basis of body acupuncture for the treatment of kidney-essence deficiency neurological tinnitus,abdominal acupuncture can improve the curative effect,which is worthy of clinical application.
