Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy With Yanghe Decoction

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of yanghe decoction on diabetic peripheral neuropathy(spleen-kidney Yang deficiency,collaterals arthralgia syndrome),and further observe the effect of this prescription on superoxide dismutase(SOD)and malondialdehyde(MDA).Methods: 60 patients who met the diagnostic criteria of traditional Chinese and western medicine for diabetic peripheral neuropathy(spleen-kidney Yang deficiency and collateral-artery bi obstruction syndrome)were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,30 cases each.Changes of the total TCM syndrome score,10 g nylon touch,tuning fork vibration sense,and sensory threshold measurement of the two groups before and after treatment were recorded in detail,and the results of the two groups before and after treatment were compared and analyzed.4 weeks was one course of treatment,with a total of 3 courses of treatment.Results: 1.The total clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients after treatment was analyzed,among which the total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.67% and that of the control group was 76.67%,with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).2.The total score of TCM syndromes in the treatment group decreased significantly before and after treatment(P<0.01),and was significantly different from that in the control group(P<0.05).3.Comparison of sensory thresholds between the two groups was conducted.Intra-group comparison: there were significant differences in all nerves in the treatment group(P<0.05),no significant differences in the right superficial and deep peroneal nerves in the control group(P>0.05),and significant differences in other nerves(P<0.05).Comparison between groups: there were significant differences between right superficial peroneal nerve and deep peroneal nerve(P<0.05),while there were no significant differences between other nerves(P>0.05).4.After treatment,the vibration sensation of tuning fork and touch of 10 g nylon wire in the treatment group were significantly improved than before treatment(P<0.01),which was statistically significant comparedwith the control group(P<0.05).5.After treatment,the serum SOD and MDA of patients in the two groups were compared and analyzed,and there were significant differences between the two groups(P<0.01).6.During the study of this project,patients in both groups did not have adverse reactions or discomfort.Conclusion: Yang he tang huasu has a significant clinical effect on the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(spleen-kidney Yang deficiency,collaterals bi obstruction syndrome),can significantly improve its clinical symptoms,signs and physical and chemical examination,improve the level of antioxidant stress in patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy,and has safety,worthy of clinical promotion and application.
