Clinical Study Of Heat-clearing Clearing Damp Water-benefit Formula In The Treatment Of Damp-heat Accumulated Gouty Arthritis

ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of heat-clearing clearing damp water-benefit formula in the treatment of damp-heat accumulated gouty arthritisMethodsRandom clinical study design was adopted in this study.A total of 72 patients(36 in the treatment group and 36 in the control group)who met the inclusion criteria were collected in this study.The treatment group was treated with heat-clearing clearing damp water-benefit formula,decocted with water,once in the morning and once in the evening,one dose per day for 7 consecutive days.The control group was treated with gout capsule,4 capsules for each oral treatment,3 times a day for 7 consecutive days.Visual analogue scale(VAS)scores before and after treatment in the two groups were recorded,and indicators such as blood sedimentat ion rate(ESR),C-reactive protein(CRP),liver function(ALT、AST),renal function(BUN、Cr),blood routine(WBC、RBC、HGB、PLT)were recorded.Statistical analysis was conducted to evaluate safety of of heat-clearing clearing damp water-benefit formulaResults1.A total of 72 cases were collected and 69 cases were completed,including 34 cases in the treatment group and 35 in other group,and 3 cases were lost.2.The VAS score of TCM syndromes in the two groups after t reatment was improved compared with that before treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement of the VAS score in the treatment group and the efficacy of TCM syndromes were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).3.After t reatment,the difference in ESR and CRP between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the difference in BUA level between the treatment group and the treatment group was statistically significant(P<0.05),but the difference in BUA level between the control group and the treatment group was not statistically significant(P>0.05).4.After treatment,there was no obvious difference in liver function(ALT,AST),renal function(BUN,Cr)and blood routine(WBC,RBC,HGB,PLT)between the two groups(P>0.05),and there was no no obvious difference in incidence of two groups(P>0.05).ConclusionHeat-clearing clearing damp water-benefit formula for the treatment of damp-heat accumulated gout arthritis can effectively relieve joint pain reduce uric acid and erythrocyte sedimentation rate with anti-inflammatory effect,can improve TCM syndrome integral,the effect is better than tongfengding capsule,its safety and tongfengding capsule...
