| With the in-depth development of the aging of social population, the pain assessment care of elderly chronic pain groups has become an urgent problem to be solved. For the pain treatment, pain assessment is the key point, there have been a lot of research on pain scale in foreign countries. However,at present, the experience of using the multi-dimensional pain assessment questionnaire in China is poor. The interface lacks the “visualization” application research as well as humanistic care for elderly patients.Based on the above background, the thesis studies the current status and medical development trends of domestic and foreign pain assessment tools. At the same time,it combines the relevant theories and methods of cognitive psychology, information design and user experience to set the elderly as the main user and refine the pain self-assessment tool interface.First of all,the article analyzes the medical chronic pain characteristics as well as its current situation in China, and identifies the main issues used in the pain assessment interface from the perspective of elderly patients.Second, from the perspective of cognitive psychology, the article explores to the characteristics of the elderly audience’s perception of aging, thinking degeneration, memory aging, and the above characteristics leads to three aspects problems as information recognition and overall perception, assessing content understanding and operational behavior transformation when the elderly are conducting self-assessment.Next,starting from the field research, excavates the actual problems and hidden needs in the processes of elderly patients filling out the pain self-assessment tool by themselves to verify and clarify the details.Eventually, the design information of pain assessment interface information is proposed from four aspects: information function dimension, information visual element, information organization layout and information expression understanding.Through the construction of a pain assessment interface information design strategy, the existing pain assessment tool information was standardized and optimized. For elderly patients with chronic pain, this study improved the readability, identifiability, operability, and user satisfaction of the pain assessment interface, while also improving the efficiency and reliability of the its filling. For professional doctors and nurses, the pain self-assessment tool as an auxiliary communication tool plays an important role in obtaining more accurate patient symptom information. The design optimization of the evaluation interface improves the efficiency of the tool and reduces the efficiency. The explanation burden of the medical practitioners plays a more active role in the communication between doctors and patients with painful diseases. |
