Clinical Study On Treatment Of Damp-heat And Stasis-type Rheumatoid Arthritis With Baihua Erwu Powder Combined With Conventional Western Medicine

To observe the changes of erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),TCM syndrome score,C-reactive protein(CRP),DAS28 score and safety index before and after administration of Baihua Erwu Powder combined with conventional western medicine in patients with damp-heat stasis rheumatoid arthritis.Objective evaluation of the clinical efficacy and safety of Baihua Erwu Powder.According to the random number table,60 subjects who met the inclusion criteria of this study were randomly divided into 30 patients in the treatment group and 30 in the control group.The control group was treated with methotrexate tablets,folic acid tablets and meloxicam.The treatment group was given Baihua Erwu Powder for external use on the basis of the control group.Eight weeks was used as a treatment cycle to observe changes in joint pain and swelling,ESR,TCM syndrome scores,CRP,morning stiffness time,and DAS28 scores after one treatment cycle.Disease control and activity were judged using the DAS28 efficacy evaluation criteria.During the treatment,the patient’s symptoms,signs and related safety indicators were carefully recorded,and the adverse reactions and solutions occurred during the research were collected,and the clinical efficacy and safety were objectively evaluated.Both groups of patients completed this clinical observation.(1)Improving the efficacy of TCM syndrome: the total effective rate was 93.3% in the treatment group and 80.0% in the control group.The difference between the groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the treatment group was superior to the control group;(2)Improving the efficacy of DAS28: the total effective rate was 43.3% in the treatment group and 33.3% in the control group.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group.(3)In terms of improving the DAS28 score.After treatment,the DAS28 scores of the two groups were decreased.There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).After treatment,the DAS28 scores between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Better than the control group;(4)Improvement of symptoms and signs: after treatment,the number of joint tenderness,TCM syndrome score,morning stiffness time,and patient’s VAS score for pain were improved compared with the previous ones.Statistical significance(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the number of joint swelling between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the morning stiffness time between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05),but the number of joint tenderness,swelling number,TCM syndrome score,patient pair The difference of VAS in pain was statistically significant(P<0.05).The treatment group was superior to the control group.(5)The improvement of laboratory indicators: the ESR and CRP levels of the two groups were decreased after treatment,and the two groups were compared.There was a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(6)Safety analysis: There were no abnormalities in the safety test indexes of the two groups before and after treatment.Degree and severe adverse reactions,the correlation was statistically significant,the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),the two treatment methods have certain safety.Baihua Erwu Powder combined with conventional western medicine for treating dampness and heat resistance rheumatoid arthritis has significant effects on improving TCM symptoms and signs,especially the number of joint swelling and tenderness,which can reduce laboratory inflammation indicators and help control disease activity and relieve clinical symptoms.The clinical use is convenient and effective,and the adverse reactions are few.
