Research On The Current Status Of Occupational Hazards In The Metal Products Industry In A Town

In recent years,every year there is an upward trend in the new occupational disease cases in China,the occupational disease prevention and control work situation is very grim.China is a big country of metal products,but there are some problems such as low industrial concentration,poor scale economic benefit,high ratio of low-end products,and a large number of metal products enterprises.There are serious occupational hazards such as dust,noise,high temperature,hydrochloric acid and so on,which will cause tremendous harm to the health of workers and even suffer from occupational diseases.A town in South China is a developed area of metal products industry,It is very important to prevent and cure occupational diseases.In order to understand the types and degree of occupational hazards existing in metal products industry in a town in South China,the methods of data collection,field investigation and on-site detection were adopted to detect occupational hazards in 50 metal products enterprises,and the current situation of occupational health management was investigated.The on-site test results show that the occupational hazards of dust and noise exceed the standard.Among them,the over-standard rate of aluminum alloy dust detection is 41.67%,wood dust detection is 33.33%,other dust detection is 33.33%,welding fume detection is 12.50%,and noise detection is 57.81%.The results of field investigation show that the occupational health inspection rate is only 67.19%;The proportion of enterprises with sound occupational health management system was 82%,and that of enterprises with full-time or part-time occupational health managers was 88%;The informing rate of occupational hazard contract was 62.50%;the detection rate of occupational hazard factors was 84%;the training rate of workers was 76%;the unqualified rate of warning signs was 73.46%,and the unqualified rate of personal protective articles was 85.71%.In view of the town's occupational hazards and occupational health management current status of fabricated metal products,enterprises should strengthen the corresponding protective facilities,and provide effective personal protective equipment,carry out the occupational health,choose the professional testing institutions,improve the working environment,improve the occupational disease prevention and control ability and level of the enterprise,relevant departments should strengthen the industry guidance and supervision work of occupational health management.
