The System Evaluation And Analysis Of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction In The Treatment Of Ankylosing Spondylitis

Background:Ankylosing spondylitis(AS)is a chronic inflammation of the spine joints,which is mainly composed of medial axis joints,tendons,ligaments and bone attachments.Clinical manifestations often include stiffness of the back,inflammatory low back pain,tendinitis,peripheral arthritis and extraarticular manifestations.Sacroiliac joint,spine and limb joint,eye,lung,heart,kidney and other organs were involved.The development of advanced disease is liable to lead to osseous ankylosis,spinal deformity and serious dysfunction.Modern medicine is not clear about the etiology and pathogenesis of ankylosing spondylitis.It may be related to heredity,infection,immunity,environment and so on.It lacks specificity in clinical treatment.In recent years,Chinese medicine experts have made great progress in the treatment of this disease.A large number of literatures reported that Chinese medicine oral administration,external application,fumigation,acupuncture and moxibustion,manipulation,etc.for ankylosing spondylitis from its external treatment or internal treatment have achieved good results,showing the significant advantages of Chinese medicine in treating AS.By systematically and comprehensively collecting the published clinical research results of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis,using the principles and methods of strict evaluation of literature by clinical epidemiology,screening out the literature that meets the quality standards,making qualitative or quantitative synthesis,and drawing comprehensive and reliable conclusions,in order to achieve the following purposes:(1)Systematic evaluation of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis;Efficacy and safety of spondylitis;2.To collate the treatment literature of more than 30 years of randomized or semi-randomized Chinese medicine treatment of AS and more than 30 cases of clinical reports,and to establish a database to provide reference for the clinical dialectical treatment of ankylosing spondylitis and the law of Chinese medicine use,and to provide further scientific basis for the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis with Chinese medicine.Research methods:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Duhuo Jisheng Decoction in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis.The inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria of literature are formulated,and electronic retrieval is used: foreign language database: Pub Med,EmbaseASP,Cochrane Library,OVID,Springer-link;Chinese database: China Knowledge Resource Base(CNKI),Wanfang Academic Journal Database,Weipu Chinese Journal Database(VIP),China Biomedical Literature Service System(CBM),etc.,combined with manual retrieval to collect documents.To evaluate the quality of the study,extract data,and use Revman 5.3 software to complete statistical analysis.Conclusion:According to the search strategy and literature inclusion criteria,13 randomized controlled trials were included,with a total of 1004 subjects.Meta-analysis was performed using M-H method to show fixed or random effects models.The data obtained through systematic evaluation show that Chinese medicine plays an important role in improving clinical condition and alleviating symptoms,optimizing relevant test indicators and reducing adverse reactions,whether alone or in combination with western medicine in the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis.On the other hand,due to methodological deficiencies in randomized controlled trials,the process of randomized controlled trials is limited.There are some interference factors,and there is bias in the publication of research papers.Therefore,more high-quality,large-sample,double-blind RCT clinical trials are needed to verify the effect.
