The Therapeutic Effect Of Asiaticoside Ointment Combined With Long Pulse 1064nm Laser On Keloid

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of asiaticoside ointment combined with long pulse 1064 nm laser on keloid,and its effect on relieving the pigmentation,vascularity,height,pliability,itching,pain,then evaluate the side effect and adverse reaction,finally explore the work of asiaticoside in the combination therapy.Methods Using a method of prospective randomized control trial,70 cases of patients suffering by keloid were selected as the research objects.These patients were divided into a positive control group and a combination treatment group.The Vancouver scar score table(VSS)was used to evaluate the improvement of scar before and after treatment,and the role that asiaticoside play in the treatment of keloid.Results After treatment,the scores of VSS in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P < 0.05).The improvement of pliability,height,itching and pain were significantly higher than those in control group(P < 0.05).The improvement of vascularity and pigmentation were no significant difference with those in control group(P >0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence rate of adverse reactions between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion Asiaticoside combined with long pulse 1064 nm laser is effective in treating keloid.Asiaticoside can improve the effect of relieving the pliability,height,itching and pain,meanwhile it was proved to be safe enough that asiaticoside could be an adjuvant therapy for keloid.
