Study On The Chemical Constituents Of The Seed Of Caesalpinia Decapetala

Caesalpinia decapetala(Roth)Alston Under Caesalpinia Linn.,was mainly in the south of our country.In this dissertation,the phytochemical studies were carried out on the medicinal plant of the seed of Caesalpinia decapetala.Meanwhile,the advance in the recent research of chemical constituents and pharmacological activities of Caesalpinia decapetala were reviewed.According to the folk application,the study on the chemical constituents from the ethanol extracts of the seed of Caesalpinia decapetala was investigated.Nineteen cassane diterpenes were isolated from the chloroform and acetic ether extract of C.decapetala.by using the modern chromatography techniques.Basing on the spectroscopic analysis and chemical methods,Silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography techniques were used as pretreatments for ethanol extract of the seeds of C.decapetala,and then semi-preparative HPLC technique was used as well.their structures were determined as follows:F1 caesalmin F1(1),a-caesalpin(2),caesalmin C(3),caesalmin E(4),epimer-caesalmin F(5),caesalmin F(6),neocaaesalpin MP(7),1-deacteoxy-l-oxocaesalmin C(8),neocaesalpin AA(9),bonducellpin C(10),bonducellpin E(11),neocaaesalpin N(12),caesalpinin MQ(13),1?,2?-diacetoxy-14 ?-carboxymethyl-7 ?-hydro xyl-vouacapen-5?-ol(14),3?-acetoxy-cassa-12,14(17),15-trien-7?-ol(15),caesall E(16),caesalpinin MJ(17),1-deacetylcaesalmin C(18),Caesalmin D(19).In the nineteen compounds,compound 1 and compound 5 were new compounds,compound 5-6 are a pair of epimeric diterpenes,and compounds 3-4,7-12,15-19 are obtained for the first time from the seeds of C.decapetala.Five compounds were researched with MTT methods,Compounds 1,3 and 4 show moderate anti-tumor activity against HeLa cells with IC50 values of 64.3,42.9 and 81.2 ?mol/L,respectively.The study on Caesalpinia decapetala proved factual foundation and encriched the chemical study for the extensive use of Caesalpinia decapetala.
