This thesis consists of three chapters. In chapter 1,the chemical components from Caesalpinia plants reported in the references from 2015 to 2017 were summarized. In chapter 2,the chemical constituents of the fruits of Caesalpinia mimosoides were studied. The genus Caesalpinia?Leguminosae?distribut widely in tropical and subtropical regions, and 17 species of the genus are widespread mainly in South and Southwest China, and 13 species of the genus have long been used in Chinese traditional medicine. For example, heartwoods of C.sappan L.have been used for expectorant, analgesia, activating blood.Seeds of C.minax are used for the treatment of common cold, influenza, fever, rheumatism and dysentery.Because of the characteristic cassane diterpenoids and homoisoflavonoids, the plants of Caesalpinia have drawn wide attention.Using modern chromatographic technology,34compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate extraction. These compounds were identified to be:caesmimosin A?1?,caesmimosin B?2?,caesmimosin C?3?,caesmimosin D?4?,caesmimosin E?5?,caesmimosin F?6?,caesmimosin G1?7a?and caesmimosin G2?7b?,caesmimotam A?8?,caesmimotam B?9?,?E?-3-?3',4'-dihydroxybenzylidene?-5,7-dihydroxychroman-4-one?10?,5,7-dihydroxy-3-?4'-hydroxybenzylidene?chroman-4-one?11?,eucomin?12?,?R?-5,7-dihydroxy-3-?4'-methoxybenzyl?chroman-4-one?13?,?R?-5,7-dihydroxy?4'-hydroxy-3'-methoxy benzyl?chroman-4-one?14?,evofolinB?15?,kaempferol?16?,5,7,3',4'-tetrahydroxy-3-methoxyflavone?17?,naringenin?18?,quercetin?19?,luteolin?20?,intricatinol?21a?andisointricatinol?21b?,2',4'-dihydroxychalcone?22?,11-O-?E?-sinapate?23?,11-O-?E?-ferulate?24?,5?,8?-epidioxy-?22E,24R?-ergosta-6,22-dien-3?-ol?25?,sitoindoside I?26?,lupeol?27?,?+?-syringaresinol?28?,vanillic acid?29?,3,4-dihydroxy benzoic acid?30?,?-sitosterol?31?,ethyl gallate?32?,gallic acid?33?and daucosterol?34?.Compounds 1-9 were new cassane diterpenes, and compounds 10-23 were flavonoids.Except for compounds 3,10,24,26,31,32,33and 34,all the other compounds were isolated from Caesalpinia mimosoides Lam for the first time.In chapter 3,the chemical constituents of the barks of Erythrina strica Roxb were studied. The barks were used for the treatment for rheumatism in Yunnan folk, and used to treat stomachache, asthma, dysentery, allergic contact dermatitis, eczema and skin infection in India.23 compounds were isolated and identified from the barks:oleracein E?1?,?+?-methoxyerythraline?2?,erythristemine?3?,erythraline?4?,8-hydroxylerysodine?5?,ersotramidine?6?,erysotrine?7?,erysodine?8???±?-6a,11a-cis-homopterocarpin?9?,phaseollidin?10?,phaseollin?11?,fuscacarpan B?12a?and fuscacarpan C?12b?,alpinumisoflavone?13?,parvisoflavone B?14?,naringenin?15a?and genistein?15b?,wighteone?16?,the mixture of oleanolic acid?17a?and ursolic acid?17b?,erythrodiol?18?,5?,8?-epidioxy-?22E,24R?-ergosta-6,22-dien-33?-ol?19?,p-hydroxybenzcic acid?20?,vanillic acid?21?,?-hydroxyproioquaiacone?22?,3,7-dimethyloct-1-ene-3,6,7-triol?23?and?-sitosterol?24?.Except for compound 13,the other compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.
