Objective:To explore outpatient visiting experience and associated factors of obstetrics and gynecology and pediatric in 30 maternal and children’s tertiary hospitals in China, and to put forward some relevant opinions and suggestions for improving medical service. Methods:Based on the outpatient satisfaction survey results of the third party evaluation of the National Healthcare Improvement Initiative in 30 maternal and children’s tertiary hospitals,SPSS24.0 software was used to conduct descriptive statistics analysis,Mann-whitney U test multivariate,Chi-square test multivariate and logistic regression analysis to explore the outpatient satisfaction score of obstetrics and gynecology and influencing factors of outpatients’ satisfaction. Results:The overall satisfaction of the obstetrics and gynecology outpatients and the families of the pediatrics outpatients had a certain degree of improvement compared with the previous two rounds of assessment, but it still need to be further improved. The patients or family members of both departments were most satisfied with "information of hospitals",but they were not satisfied with the "visiting environmental facilities "and "visiting process".Compared with obstetrics and gynecology patients, the family medical experience of the children is generally poor."The doctor’s medical technology level" is the common influencing factors of the overall satisfaction of the obstetrics and gynecology patient(P<0.001)and the pediatric patients(P<0.001,).Other factors affecting the overall satisfaction of obstetrics and gynecology patients are the education level of patients(P=0.015),"patient waiting time"(OR=2.648,P=0.001),"communication time with doctor at the time of treatment"(P=0.005),"medical staff patiently explain the treatment plan, medication methods and precautions"(P<0.001),"When encounter a problem, the staff answers and guides it in time "(P=0.001)and "enough seats in the rest area"(P=0.001).Other factors affecting the overall satisfaction of pediatric patients were" window registration waiting time "(P=0.006),"attitude of service staff "(registration,triage,payment,medicine,etc.)(P=0.013).Conclusions:The "three short and one long" problems in the treatment process, the doctor’s medical technology level, the service attitude of the medical staff and the timeliness of the service, and the environmental facilities of the hospital all have an important impact on the overall satisfaction of the patients. It is an important measurement to improve the satisfaction of pediatric, obstetrics and gynecology outpatients by strengthening the development of family physician signing system and promote the reform of outpatient system, improving patient satisfaction based on hospital service technology and quality, improving service attitude, strengthening humanistic healthcare and seting up enough seats in the rest waiting area.
