Objective:To investigate the prevalence of HPV infection among women in the outpatient department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Shanxi Da Yi Hospital, and to analyze the distribution of subtypes and age. Then this study can provide a basis for the prevention of high risk HPV infection in our province, and provide guidance for the screening of cervical cancer and precancerous lesions in our province, and can provide data for the work of HPV vaccine. Methods:Gather statistics from July 2015 to February 2017,a total of 12691 women who visited the outpatient department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Shanxi Da Yi Hospital and have did the HPV-DNA testing, aged 14-84,the median age was 40.According to the age,the detected women will be divided into 6 groups: below 24 years old group,25-34 years group,35-44 years group,45-54 years group,55-65 years group, more than66 years old group. The data collected including the patient’s name, age, contact information, menstrual history, pregnancy history, past history,as well as the result of cytological examination. We use the reagent kit which was consisted of PCR Fluorescence Detection Kit for Human Papillomavirus and Human Papillomavirus hybridization detection reagent, use the principle of gene amplification technology and the mechanism of cross flow.By reversing dot blot hybridization to amplify product and by coating probe to hybrid results, and then the 21 kinds of HPV genotypes will be determined by the alkaline phosphatase system. The measurement data expressed by mean ± standard deviation(mean + SD).We use the c2 test to compare the rate betweentwo groups, using P<0.05 show the difference has statistical significance, the research used Excel table and SPSS 20 software to analysis all the statistical data.Results:1.The total detection rate of HPV in 12691 cases of outpatient department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Shanxi Da Yi Hospital was 25.86%.The detection rate of high-risk HPV(HR-HPV)was 23.44%,and the detection rate of low-risk type was about4.41%.The detection rate in the top 5 of high-risk types are HPV16,58,52,53,39,low-risk subtype detection rate from high to low was 81,6,11,42,43,respectively.2.The detection rates of HPV in different age groups were different, which were29.33%,22.58 %,25.80%,26.18%,34.93% and 30.29%,respectively.The highest detection rate of which is 55-65 age group, then is more than 66 years old group,25-34 years group had the lowest rate. The detection rate of HPV was high→low→high→low with the growth of women’s age.3.The overall infection rate of HPV in postmenopausal women was higher than that in women of childbearing age,and the HPV detection rate in women aged ≤24 and ≥66years old was higher than in 25-65 years old women. Conclusion:There was a certain difference in the detection rate of HPV in the outpatient department of gynecology and obstetrics clinic in Shanxi Da Yi Hospital with other areas in China, which was significantly higher than the average level of the whole country, also higher than other provinces and cities. In this study, the top five high-risk subtypes are HPV16,58,52,53,39,which has the unique characteristics of the distribution of subtypes in our province.HPV81 is the most common low-risk type, which was different with other provinces in the country reported. In addition, the detection rate of HPV in different age groups in our outpatient department was maintained at a high level. The susceptible age of HPV infection was in the middle and elderiy,so we should pay more attention to the cervical cancer screening of these women. In short, this survey is of great significance to improve and perfect the screening work of women’s cervical cancer in our province.
