Objective: To explore the relationship between redundant prepuce and mycoplasma, seminal plasma elastase, sperm DNA fragments and sperm reactive oxygen species(ROS)of pregnant period male. Methods: Mycoplasma, seminal plasma elastase, sperm DNA fragments and abnormal rate of sperm ROS were analyzed retrospectively in patients diagnosed of pregnant period male from 2016,1 to 2019,1.The cases were divided into 4 groups: group A,covered the urethral orifice with prepuce in the natural state of penis(the redundant prepuce group);Group B,after circumcision for more than one year;group C,after circumcision for less than one year;group D,did not cover urethral orifice in the natural state of penis(the normal prepuce group). The abnormal rate of each index was calculated, and the correlation between redundant prepuce and each index was analyzed.Patients tested sperm DNA fragments and ROS were divided into normal and abnormal group, mycoplasma and seminal plasma elastase abnormal rate were compared between each two group. Results: Group A,B,C,D,the positive rates of mycoplasma and the recessive infection rate indicated by seminal plasma elastase: group A is significantly higher than group B,C,D;there was no significant difference in every pairwise comparison of group B,C,D;the confirmed infection rate of seminal plasma elastase: group A is significantly higher than group B,C,D;group B is significantly lower than group C,D;but C,D group no significant difference;the abnormal rates of sperm DNA fragments: A,B,C,D group with no significant difference of every pairwise comparison;the positive rates of sperm ROS: A,B,C,D,with no significant difference of every pairwise comparison. The positive rates of mycoplasma and the confirmed infection rate of seminal plasma elastase in sperm DNA fragments or sperm ROS tested patients: abnormal group is significantly higher than normal group;the recessive infection rate of seminal plasma elastase: abnormal group is higher than normal group, but with no significant difference. Conclusion: Early circumcision may effectively decrease the abnormal rate of mycoplasma and seminal plasma elastase of pregnant period male with redundant prepuce. The positive rate of mycoplasma and the confirmed infection rate of seminal plasma elastase in sperm DNA fragments group or sperm ROS abnormal group is significantly higher than normal group of pregnant period male,so early treatment for these patients may needed.
