| Objective: To compare the outcomes of two anterior decompression and fusion techniques in the treatment of three level cervical spondylotic myelopathy(MCSM).Methods: the records of 66 patients who underwent anterior approaches because of multilevel cervical spondylotic myelopathy between 2016 and 2018 in our hospital were reviewed. The mean follow-up time is 24 months(12 to 36),and the patients are divided into two groups among the depression procedure:anterior cervical discectomy with fusion(ACDF)group(group A),and anterior cervical hybrid decompression and fusion(ACHDF)group(group B),there were 27 men and 16 women in group A,and the average age is 56.4±9.62 years old,and ther were 11 men and 12 women in group B,the average age is 57.3±9.21 years old, there is no significant differences between two groups. The operation time, blood loss, the VAS and JOA score in pre-operation and the final follow-up,and the cobb angle and anterior column height in fusion levels in pre-operation and 3 months after operation and the final follow-up were compared. Results:There were no significant differences between the operation time, blood loss, the VAS and JOA score in pre-operation and the final follow-up,and the cobb angle and anterior column height in fusion levels in pre-operation and 3 months after operation,(P>0.05),and group A was better than group B in the anterior column height in fusion levels in the final follow-up,(P<0.05).Conclusion:the two approaches can both have a good post operation out comes in the treatment of MCSM,but ACDF may have a better out comes in anterior column height in fusion levels than ACHDF for longstanding. |
