Clinical Study On The Stability Of Carotid Atherosclerotic Plaque (Kidney Deficiency And Blood Stasis Type) With Ruanmaihuaban Granule

Objective:to analyze and evaluate the effect of Ruanmaih uaban granule on the stability of carotid atherosclerotic plaques(kidney deficiency and blood stasis type)through clinical study,and to provide scientific basis for the treatment of atheroscl erosis and stable plaques with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:patients ages 40-80 years were included in the geriatric outpatient department of the second traditional Chinese medicine hospital of sichuan province from February 2017 to June 2017.TCM syndrome differentiation was consistent with the syndrome of kidney deficiency and blood stasis,and carotid ultrasound indicated the formation of carotid atherosclerotic plaques(unstable type).A total of 64 cases met the criteria after screening,and were divided into two groups accroding to the principle of random allocation:group A(treatment group):Ruanmai huaban granules+Pravastatin tables;group B(control group):Placebo+Pravastatin tables.The treatment course was 12 weeks in total.Before and after treatment,the variation of case classification,IMT,Crouse plaque score,blood lipid,various TCM synd romes,TCM syndromes score and effective rate after treatment,4 weeks,8 weeks and 12 weeks in total.Before and after treatment,the variation of case classification,IMT,Crouse plaque score,blood lipid,various TCM syndromes,TCM syndromes scorean effective rate before and after treatment,4 weeks,8 weeks and12 weeks were observed.Results:in the process of the study,there were 2 cases of shedding in group A,1 case of shedding in grop B and 1 case of shedding in group B.The actual number of completed cases in group A and B was 30 cases each.The pathological properties of plaque,IMT values,Crouse plaque score,triglyceride value in blood lipid and TCM syndromes score of the treatment group were better than control group before and after treatment,with statistical significance.Conclusion:Ruanmaihuaban granule has the effects of anti-atherosclerosis,stabilizing atherosclerotic plaques and improving clinical symptoms.Combined statin therapy is more advantageous than single statin therapy,which is safe and effective and worthy clinical promotion.
