Cerebral palsy is a serious pediatric disease with high morbidity and disability.Spastic cerebral palsy is the most common type,which is manifested as dyskinesia and abnormal posture.Spasm is the main cause of dyskinesia in children.How to effectively control and alleviate spasm is the focus and difficulty of clinical treatment.At present,there are various clinical treatment methods。Although they have some effects,but still have many shortcomings,such as effect is not lasting,expensive,time consuming,high technical requirements.Acupotomology is a new type of needle tool,which can release adhesion,relieve spasm,restore mechanical balance,improve motor function and etc.But needle knife in the treatment of cerebral palsy of spastic type in clinical application is not much,only a few physicians use,therefore,this article reviews from the Chinese and western medicine understanding of spastic cerebral palsy,theoretical basis of needle knife,mechanism,clinical application and safety,in order to investigate its feasibility in the treatment of cerebral palsy movement disorders in spasm type,to seek a new method which is effective and convenient,and to provide the basis for clinical medicine.
