Research On The Regular Pattern Of Auricular Positive Points In Patients With Peripheral Facial Paralysis

Objectives To observe the distribution of auricle positive reaction points and the changes of auricle positive reaction points after acupuncture and moxibustion treatment in peripheral facial paralysis patients,we try to explore the regularity of auricle points in peripheral facial paralysis patients.Methods We selected 120 peripheral facial paralysis patients from January 2018 to December 2018 in Shijiazhuang traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.(1)We observed the positive reaction points of auricle points in peripheral facial paralysis patients by different methods such as observation,palpation and CLRH-A auricle detector.(2)We treated 120 patients with a total of 2 courses of treatment.The therapeutic effect was evaluated by House-Brackmann facial nerve function evaluation grade system,facial disability index and peripheral facial neuropathy evaluation form.The changes of auricle points were observed by observing and palpation electrical measurement,and we made a statistical analysis of the data.Results 1 In the 120 patients,4 patients fell off during treatment,116 patients with facial paralysis were observed.1)The distribution of auricle points in peripheral facial paralysis patients was mainly in the eye(77.6%),cheek(69.9%),temporal(52.6%),forehead(36.2%),jaw(30.2%),they were corresponding to the facial organs on the "inverted embryo map" of the ear point.2)There are differences in the distribution of positive auricle points in different syndrome types stage,lesion location,sex and so on.The distribution of auricle positive reaction points in peripheral facial paralysis patients with different syndromes is different.The ear points of Wind-cold attack collaterals are mainly the eye and teeth.The ear points of Wind-heat attack on collaterals are mainly the eye.The ear points of Wind-phlegm obstruction type are mainly the eye,cheek,shoulder and the endocrine.The ear points of Qi deficiency and blood stasis type are mainly the cervical vertebrae and thoracic vertebrae.There are significant differences in the distribution of the eye,cervical vertebrae,endocrine,stomach,sciatica,pillow,kidney,large intestine,spleen,middle ear,inner ear,cardia,wrist,and pressor point among the four syndrome types(P<0.05).There are significant differences in the distribution of the eye,cheek,tooth,cervical vertebrae,thoracic spine,sympathetic,Shenmen,stomach,pillow,kidney,large intestine,spleen,middle ear,inner ear,cardia,elbow,wrist,and pressor point among the three stages(P<0.05).The number of positive auricle points in the ipsilateral auricle of the patients is significantly higher than that in the opposite side of the disease.There are significant difference in the the eye,cheek,teeth,cervical vertebrae,thoracic spine,lumbar vertebrae,Shenmen,forehead,jaw,Sanjiao,trifocal,and bladder between men and women(P<0.05).2 The total effective rate of acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis was 96.56%,and the function of facial nerve were significantly improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).The number of auricular point positive reaction points of the 116 patients decreased after acupuncture treatment.There are significant differences in the distribution of the eye,cheeks,teeth,cervical vertebrae,shoulder,temporal,endocrine,sympathetic,lumbar vertebrae,Shenmen,before and after treatment(P < 0.05).In the 27 cases of cured and 58 cases of peripheral facial paralysis,the positive reaction points of auricle,cheek,teeth,cervical vertebra,shoulder,temporal,endocrine,sympathetic,lumbar vertebrae,Shenmen,forehead,heart,jaw,Sanjiao,trifocal,anterior nerve,kidney,tongue,bladder,small intestine,middle ear and tonsil decreased significantly after the treatment.Conclusions The positive reaction points of auricle points in peripheral facial paralysis patients are mainly the eye,cheek,temporal,forehead,jaw,prolapse,heart,Sanjiao,endocrine,sympathetic,Shenmen.The distribution of positive reaction points is affected by syndrome type,stage and other factors,and the number of auricle positive reaction points is obviously improved after the treatment.The positive reaction points of auricle points can reflect the symptoms of peripheral facial paralysis and decrease with the cure of peripheral facial paralysis.It provides experimental basis for ear acupoints to reflect symptoms(diagnosis)and sensory stimulation(treatment).Figure1;Table10;Reference 118.
