· Objective:To study the prevalence of thyroid dysfunction in systemiclupus erythematosus(SLE)patients and to analyze the association ofhypothyroidism with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE).· Methods:A total of 330 hospitalized SLE patients were retrospectivelyanalyze.Statistics the prevalence of different thyroid diseases.Set thehypothyroidism to the experimental group. And set the thyroid functionnormal(TFN)to the control group.Grouped data were evaluatedforsignificance using the T test,X2 test and Logistic regressionanalysis to analyse.· Results :Among all SLE patients,39(11.8%)patients with thyroiddisorder, include 2(1.2%)patients with hyperthyroidism,5 patients(1.5%)with subclinical hyperthyroidism,12 patients(52.8%)withhypothyroidism,and 20 patients(6.2%)with subclinical hypothyroidism.TGAB positive rate is 48.8%(82/168),TPOAB positive rate is 21.51%(37/172).The prevalence of hypothyroidism among SLE is higher than generalpopulation in China(1%).In Logistic regression analysis,we found 24hhurine protein can effect the prevalence of hypothyroidism in SLE,whichhave statistical significance.· Conclusion: The prevalence of hypothyroidism in SLE is higher than generalpopulation in China.24 h urine protein independent risk factor of SLE withhypothyroidism. The TPOAb and TGAb positive rate is higher in SLEpatients than general population. So the patients with these risks shouldperiodic review thyrod function.
