Objective:Thyroid cancer is the most common head and neck cancer at present, and the most pathological type is papillary thyroid carcinoma. In recent years, the incidence rate has increased rapidly. At present, the main treatment methods of papillary thyroid carcinoma include surgical treatment, thyroid stimulating hormone inhibition treatment and radioactive iodine treatment. The genetic research of thyroid cancer is a hot topic in recent years. The BRAF V600E gene mutation is the most common type of gene mutation in papillary thyroid carcinoma. This article aims to investigate the correlation between the clinicopathological features of papillary thyroid carcinoma and BRAF V600E gene mutation, and provide a theoretical basis for the diagnosis, diagnosis and treatment planning and prognosis evaluation of papillary thyroid carcinoma. Methods:The clinical and pathological data of the enrolled patients were collected. The mutations of BRAF V600E in 290 cases of paraffin-embedded tissues confirmed by surgical resection and confirmed by paraffin-embedded paraffin were analyzed. The mutation of BRAFV600E and thyroid papilla were analyzed.Correlation between clinical pathology-related factors in cancer. Results:Among 290 cases of papillary thyroid carcinoma,247 mutations occurred in the BRAF V600E gene, and the mutation rate was 85.17%.There was a statistically significant difference between the BRAF gene mutation and the number of lesions in patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma(X~2=7.162,P<0.05).However,there was no statistically significant difference between the BRAF gene and the patient’s gender, age, lesion size, capsule involvement, central and lateral neck lymph node metastasis(X~2=0.011~3.378,P>0.05).Conclusion:The number of lesions in papillary thyroid carcinoma is related to the BRAF V600E gene mutation, and the correlation between BRAF V600E mutation and other clinical features of papillary thyroid carcinoma needs further confirmation.
