| Part Ⅰ The expression of Gn RH and its receptor in epithelial ovarian cancer and its clinical significanceObjective To investigate the expression of gonadotropin-releasing hormone(Gn RH)and gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptor(Gn RH-R)in epithelial ovarian cancer tissues, and to explore the possible correlation between clinical pathological characteristics,K i-67 and expression of Gn RH and Gn RH-R.Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of K i-67,Gn RH and Gn RH-R in 42 cases of epithelial ovarian cancer and 38 cases of epithelial ovarian benign tumors. The clinical pathological characteristics was all collected. Results 1.Gn RH and Gn RH-R are mainly expressed in the cytoplasm of ovarian cells. The positive rate of Gn RH and Gn RH-R in the epithelial ovarian cancer tissues(66.67%,52.38%)was higher than those in the serous cystadenoma(21.10%,13.20%)(P <0.01).2.The positive expression of GnRH in epithelial ovarian cancer tissues was correlated with pathological grade and surgical staging(P<0.05),and had no significant correlation with age(P>0.05).The positive expression of Gn RH-R was correlated with pathological grade(P<0.05),and had no significant correlation with surgical staging and age(P>0.05).3.The K i-67 labeling index in low-grade epithelial ovarian cancer tissues is significantly lower than those in high-grade epithelial ovarian cancer tissues. The K i-67 labeling index was(35.36±23.21)% in Gn RH positive ovarian cancer tissues,and(72.86±12.04)% in Gn RH negative ovarian cancer tissues(P<0.01).Similarly,Gn RH-R positive ovarian cancer tissues also had lower K i-67 labeling index(34.09±27.59)% than that of Gn RH-R-negative ovarian cancer tissues(63.00±15.93)%(P<0.01).Conclusion 1.The positive expression of Gn RH and Gn RH-R in the epithelial ovarian cancer tissues was higher than those in the serous cystadenoma2.The positive expression rate of GnRH in different pathological grades of ovarian cancer is different, which may be related to the differentiation of ovarian cancer cells.3.GnRH and GnRH-R positive ovarian cancer tissues have lower cell proliferation ability than those negative ovarian cancer tissues.Part Ⅱ Study of gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogues in the treatment of ovarian cancerObjective To investigate the significance of gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogue Gn RH-α in the treatment of ovarian cancer.MethodsUsing retrospectively analyzed to study the clinical pathological characteristics of 60 patients with advanced epithelial ovarian cancer.Comparing the effect of neoadjuvant chemotherapy combined with Gn RH-α and neoadjuvant chemotherapy alone in the treatment of advanced epithelial ovarian cancer by using the imaging examination and serum CA125.Results 1.The short-term treatment efficiency of the study group was 56.67%,and the treatment efficiency of the control group was 60.00%(P > 0.05).2.There was no significant difference in serum CA125 levels between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, serum C A125 levels in both groups were significantly decreased, but there is no significant difference between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion 1.There is no significant difference between the efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy combined with Gn RH-α and neoadjuvant chemotherapy alone in the treatment of advanced epithelial ovarian cancer. |
