| Objective:Through the clinical observation of the Heat-sensitive Moxibustion(HSM)therapeutic equipment and the moxa stick using HSM in the treatment of neck-shoulder Myofascial Pain Syndrome,the difference of curative effect between the two methods was compared,in order to provide experimental basis for clinical application of HSM therapeutic equipment instead of the moxa stick.Methods: 61 patients with neck-shoulder myofascial pain syndrome were selected from the Department of Acupuncture clinic in the Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2017 to October 2018.The 61 patients were divided into two groups by randomized controlled study method.The observation group consisted of 30 patients and the control group consisted of 31 patients who received moxibustion with moxibustion sticks.Once a day,a total of 10 treatments.Simplified McGill scale score was used as the observation index before and after treatment in both groups,and the difference of clinical efficacy between the two groups in treating neck-shoulder myofascial pain syndrome was compared.Result:1.Comparison of baseline indicators: There was no significant difference in gender,age,course of disease and simplified McGill scale score before treatment between the two groups(P>0.05),which wascomparable.2.Comparison of the observation indexes around treatment: The intra-group comparison showed that there were significant differences between the two groups in reducing the scores and total scores of the simplified McGill scale(P<0.01),indicating that both groups could effectively improve the pain symptoms of patients,while there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the improvement effect of pain symptoms of the two groups was Basically equivalent.3.Comparison of clinical efficacy: the total effective rate of the observation group was 100%,and the recovery rate was 73.33%.The total effective rate in the control group was 100%,and the recovery rate was80.65%.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the clinical efficacy of the two groups was basically the same.4.Adverse event incidence comparison: adverse event incidence was0% in the observation group,6.45% in the control group,and higher in the control group.Conclusion:1.The HSM therapeutic equipment and the moxa stick based on HSM are two different methods for the treatment of neck-shoulder myofascial pain syndrome,and Both of them have basically the same significant clinical effects.2.The HSM therapeutic equipment is smokeless,safe,labor-saving and worthy of clinical application. |
